I wonder if Steph mentioned that even though he signed with nike on his second number 24(#8 with adidas) Kobe actually was one of the owners and first investors of under armour which now belongs to his family. Not that I think it would have been a deal breaker knowing that it's lowkey kobe's company, but under armour should put that out there because Kobe is Kobe.

What the hell is this a Nike ad? I’m no big fan of Nike. But to imply that Nike is the second brand in apparel is ridiculous, to imply that Under Armour is better at advertising than Nike is also ridiculous. If anything Under Armour is the second or third rate brand after Nike and Adidas. Nike stock is $97 UA is $7. Are you getting paid for this. They’re all just taking the best deal they can get and Nike stepped up to the table.
Steph Curry didn't light things up as a rookie the way Clark is. She was smart to respectfully carve her own path. As she continues her dominance, the money will always be there in boatloads. Stiffing Steph Curry. How cool is that?

She'll have a lot more reputable company's offering her better deals... Under Armor isn't exactly the upper crust... Plus, I knew some other businesses that often had problems getting payment after after working with them... 😖
Did Nike "sweep in" or "swoosh" in? (Ahh... and imagine if the world's most popular slogan was the dying words of a serial killer -- wouldn't that be a crazy-insane, death-cult-in-charge, Saturn's sickle-based world or what? Oh, wait... Please return to your cells)
People don’t believe this garbage. Why would she take Nike 28 million and turn down 50 million from under armor. UA offered her 15 million, stock in the company and her own shoe. She took Nikes 28 million, stock and her own shoe. These content makers make up lies just to get content
4:00 So Under Armour's offer was for 16 million, not #50MILLION. Enter Nike with their 28-million-dollar deal over 8 years, plus _HER OWN_ signature shoe. Elementary math. I am so sick of bullshit clickbait titles and thumbnails--and that's all this channel is. bye

I have not watched the NBA in years because of their behavior I used to watch it more than men's for a while there but no way now until this gets straightened out but Clark does make me want to pay more attention it's not just how good she is her behavior and demeanor and professionalism that's what's needed
@@PlayersUnlimitedI still don’t know where you get $50M though. That number would be higher than what Nike publicized and seems made up. It doesn’t make sense. CC’s signature shoe deal will likely net her far more than what UA offered after royalties and Nike stock with projected sales. She wouldn’t just take a deal with Nike just because it’s Nike. Their number was higher, period. She’s a business major and knows her numbers. This just seems like a misleading title for clicks. But you got me to watch so good work. No disrespect to you, the numbers just don’t quite make sense to me.
@@snave59 yes, and the numbers seem off. CC wouldn’t have turned down UA if it was more lucrative. With royalties & nike stock, I believe their offer would still be richer than what UA could have offered. And I still don’t know where the $50M is coming from.
And you just made that point for me even though you didn’t address it but there’s no reason why A’ja Wilson was not offered a Nike deal or even a Adidas deal before Kaitlyn Clark it’s definitely a race thing you can’t deny that facts even though you didn’t address it but it’s not unusual for people not to address this issue when it comes to The talents of African-American females or males being put under that of other races, just keeping it real….ly truthful!
She already had a relationship with nike through college it makes sense she would stay with them. Personally I would have liked to see her tell all the big companies like addias nike & under armour all to watch from the nose bleeds & for her to go to a smaller company & literally change that company like she will the future of the wnba & like michael jordan did nike 30+ years ago but I get it nike was the safe play again she already had a relationship & been dealing with them for a while. Clearly likes their gear & products believes in the products & nike isn't likely to suddenly go under even with routine let alone suprise bad press or political decisions like say a Puma or even smaller athletic apparel shops might. Bad politics or controversies that all major companies face like Addidas & Kanye West or Nike sweat shops, child labor, support of communist especially human right abuser china & russia, then there's Nike Satan Shoes & endless other controversies. In these things it's not always about the up front cash the real money can come in the behind the scenes & long terms like in higher royalties for low cash or share options & stuff like that. I'm guessing she clearly will make more then a possible 50 million with Under Armour & more up front cash through the nike deal in longer contract & probably more control & royalties in the long term plus the deal is twice the length longer time to worry about off court nonsense. Smart money is usually not more up front cash especially if you really believe in yourself & what you're doing.
Stop mixing male and female records please... It doesn't make any sense. Women can't break a male record bc they aren't playing against men, it's pretty simple!
@@aubreysimpson3962 You could qualify that a little bit though. I think he's obviously a great player but he did play college ball in one of the weakest conferences. You couldn’t be more wrong. She’s one of the best female college players and she’s only starting her career. Look how much exposure and popularity she has now. That’s not gonna fade any time soon.
one question how you #1 pick and you lost twice back to back left with no ring no championship, just stats how?, 3 and 7 pics? for two champions? how? thats the only problem that needs answering everything else is basketball records.
For real. Nike 28 million for 8 years. Under Amor 16 million for 4 years. After the 4 years was up even if they offered her another 16 million for 4 years that’s 32 million for 8 years. Plus Nike already catering to too many players.

Just what the jealous woman want. I wish she would have gone with the other deal. The players in the WNBA don’t appreciate her. Hard to watch.
No he's part of body armor not under armour two different companies body armor is a drink under coca cola under armour is a shoe company which Steph is president which belongs to him 😂
What the hell is this a Nike ad?
That's signature shoe deal alone will make her mega millions, every little girl will want Caitlin Clark Nikes, along with collectors and more
She's like a walking talking Taylor Swift on the basketball court!
Click bait. There was no $50 million offer. The creator is just making things up.
That's what I said!
so when she told not to people and people got upset and jealous .. the serious and extreme hate and racsim started .. even REFS have guidance .. if that bad punches and treatment is not changed .. CC she would have injuries and also mind problems during the game #WNBA #RACISM #noToHate
She’s a phenomenal and the CC haters better stop or get left behind.
She should take the contract
With all this pressure I wouldnt be surprised if she doesnt do well in year one
That's not what sports entertainment companies do.
@@mdmoz1777 whatcha talking about ?
She is doing well, but her lame coach is smothering her talents.
How she lives on the court @@YT-User1013
and they snubbed her? f*ckin GNBA imo, she's the first Woman to ever play the game

Caitlin Clark is the best in basketball today!
Steph Curry gets IT.
She'll have a lot more reputable company's offering her better deals... Under Armor isn't exactly the upper crust... Plus, I knew some other businesses that often had problems getting payment after after working with them... 😖
CLARK IS THE BEST THANG THAT HAS HAPPEND TO WOMENS BALL
Its marketing a ROI
Nike doesn’t throw out contract.
Seems Clark has loyalty with Nike.
Bro can't even get basic facts right, nice AI script
People don’t believe this garbage. Why would she take Nike 28 million and turn down 50 million from under armor. UA offered her 15 million, stock in the company and her own shoe. She took Nikes 28 million, stock and her own shoe. These content makers make up lies just to get content
So there’s no downside to the UA stock?
4:00 So Under Armour's offer was for 16 million, not #50MILLION. Enter Nike with their 28-million-dollar deal over 8 years, plus _HER OWN_ signature shoe. Elementary math. I am so sick of bullshit clickbait titles and thumbnails--and that's all this channel is.
bye
The WNBA needs to capitalize on this instead of all this dumb controversy it is so nice that the NBA players are supporting her like they do unlike some of the female players thanks to That spoiled brat Diana Taurasi A lot of those women act like spoiled brats one of them should be a felon and probably should still be in jail the WNBA Needs to change that image now is there opportunity. I have not watched the NBA in years because of their behavior I used to watch it more than men's for a while there but no way now until this gets straightened out but Clark does make me want to pay more attention it's not just how good she is her behavior and demeanor and professionalism that's what's needed
CC should have gone with Under Armour, Nike is too woke and is showing cracks in it's brand
32 points per game, 28 for career.
You being VERY clickbaity here, Jethro. You are not comparing apples to apples.
Under Armor is a woke organization with their practice, so it make sense for Caitlin Clark to avoid them.
1 girl that doesn't have to travel?
Where did you get $50M? All reports were that it was around $15M. Your info is wrong.

@rayray53577.Did you watch the whole video? The answer is in there.
Not sure about UnderArmor, but Nike is a “woke” company so that’s a NO for me.
Hell Yeh!
SHE IS THE GOAT
And you just made that point for me even though you didn’t address it but there’s no reason why A’ja Wilson was not offered a Nike deal or even a Adidas deal before Kaitlyn Clark it’s definitely a race thing you can’t deny that facts even though you didn’t address it but it’s not unusual for people not to address this issue when it comes to The talents of African-American females or males being put under that of other races, just keeping it real….ly truthful!
Michael Jordan racism ?
Too bad CC went with that Woke Nike.
I think think this is overpriced man😂😂😂 I thought Curry brand offer was 32M only
she very beautiful and classy looked so much like her father Daddy big girl
Stop mixing male and female records please... It doesn't make any sense. Women can't break a male record bc they aren't playing against men, it's pretty simple!
yo that's because she look and she see the futur best choice...here u talking about something u don't know ! did utalk to her NO so
and now she screwed up cuz she won't get any better. steph not going to teach her how to drill 3s..
Not sure if you paid attention but she's already beat Steph's college 3 pt record. She's fine.
She Declined because it was too Black 4 her She is a Replica of victim She is Not a Legend never will B
No one wants Aja no one wants Lexi no one wants Reese….deal with it….boo hoo boo hoo….I want Caitlins money, wahhhhwahhhh
I have to be honest. I firmly believe that she's a better pure shooter than Steph Curry. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It took her 4 years to do what he did in 3.
@@aubreysimpson3962 What is it that he did in three years? 🤔
He made 414 3 pointers in 3 years. She made 347 in 3 years.
@@aubreysimpson3962
You could qualify that a little bit though.
I think he's obviously a great player but he did play college ball in one of the weakest conferences.
She played in one of the tougher conferences in the country.
When he played at Davidson they were in the Southern Conference which is ranked near the bottom of power conferences at 23 in basketball.
Caitlin played in the Big ten which is ranked number 2 overall as a power conference in basketball.
He played for a weaker team compared to Iowa. Nobody know Davison not they football team baseball team list go on and on. Compared to Iowa people can act like she didn’t have a team. He didn’t have a team to be real. She can shoot but it’s a blueprint on how to stop it now. He caught everybody by surprise in the nba they wasn’t even talking about him. They waiting on her in the wnba she have to lock in.
In a few years no one will be talking about Caitlyn Clark. She’s averaging less than 20 a game. Her team is winless. She’s the fad of the moment…she already fumbled the bag, Nike gave her $28M after she turned down $50M from under Armor 🤡
You couldn’t be more wrong.
She’s one of the best female college players and she’s only starting her career. Look how much exposure and popularity she has now. That’s not gonna fade any time soon.
@@eiji81 see you 2 years from now bud
one question how you #1 pick and you lost twice back to back left with no ring no championship, just stats how?, 3 and 7 pics? for two champions? how? thats the only problem that needs answering everything else is basketball records.
It was only 18 million dollars
28 8 7 is her career ave. Her sr. Yr was better
27 6 7 with better field percentage and 3 point percentage. Her freshman year was better.
She’s seeing how faster and stronger WNBA players are. Not going to be a superstar
They get to assault her...not cool.
SAD! Wished you joined Stephen Curry
For real. Nike 28 million for 8 years. Under Amor 16 million for 4 years. After the 4 years was up even if they offered her another 16 million for 4 years that’s 32 million for 8 years. Plus Nike already catering to too many players.
