Wow! This is amazing. This video is the best way to do the white vinegar and baking soda thing. My kitchen drain has not worked this good and 30 years!
I sure hope this works! Last time I tried the baking soda vinegar thing to unclog my drain, my dumbass never push the baking soda into the drain like actually inside of it (common sense I know NOW lol) so it just sat there and once I poured the vinegar in it did absolutely nothing so I'm hoping that that little tip works! Can't wait to find out I'm pushing in as we speak LOL
I love this process. The first time I used it it didn’t work. Keep in mind this was first application. So I did it again and it was done. When I do use this once a month I have no problem with the drains or toilet. Good call 👍👍👍👍
Good call. I'm thinking of revising this video and using, or suggesting, LESS baking soda, 1/4 cup, and more vinegar, 1 cup and maybe a half. I'm also not sure it has to be "boiling" water. Might be better to use less vinegar with metal pipes. I learn more as I go and pass it on.
What if you have standing water? my drain in my kitchen has water coming backing up from an upstairs drain.. so, dumping dry soda into the water.. and vinegar.. I guess would dilute?
IS THERE A CERTAIN TIME TO WAIT BEFORE I BEGIN USING MY SINK AGAIN AGYER THIS METHOD? I MEAN, SHOULD I WAIT ANY AMOUNY OF TIME IN PARTICULAR OR CAN I JUST BEGIN USING THE SINK DIRECTLY THEREAFTER THE BOILING WATER PART??? UR PROMPT RESPONSE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! THANX AGAIN!
Try unclogging your drain again. Before you do, UA-cam, Pan The Organizer. I do not know this person. However I wanted to know about unclogging a drain. So I UA-cam it, and his video came up. I hope it help.
Sometime after vinager and baking soda sits you have to pour boiling hot water like 2 teapots full down drain.Search exact directions on your search engine.
For the love of Mike, don't use lemon juice in your coffee pot. Use straight up citric acid, if you're gonna do that; lemon juice has sugars and other compounds that can burn onto the heating element, potentially causing bitterness over time, with continued use.
I tried this for sewer smell and it did not work. Turns out the U-trap had dried out. I used bleach once a week to clean it out but it took about 3 weeks to smell better. Now, i make sure to put a cup of water so it doesn't dry out again.
@@carolfeher1695 I also tried the previous method but didn't work, haven't tried the bleach method yet so I'll be grateful if you tell me how to do it and if it's harmful and works well to get rid of the smell, thanks.
I used a cup of regular bleach with a cup of water once a week and put it in the floor drain. I put the bleach mixture in at night before bed so it would have time to work. Although it got a little better the first time, it wasn't until the 3rd application that the smell was unnoticeable. My pipes are plastic (what I can see) and haven't had any issues since. Hope this helps, living with (or tying to sleep) with sewer smell wafting through the home isn't pleasant.
If your doing this you can also clean your sink with a 50/50 vinegar and Neutrogena oil free acne wash mix and it is much cleaner and safe for the environment and makes your house feel good to be in.
My drain was completely clogged. I tried professional Draino but it didn’t work. The baking soda and vinegar worked! Thank you, thank you,
I wanna know how cus I’ve been doing this for the last 2 hours & mine is STILL clogged😒

Thanks for the demonstration! Also, I have the same Batman mug!! :)
Love the slurp at the end 👍😂
Thanks man I’m your new subscriber now!
Clear the kitchen drain so it won't clog up good ideal Thanks
Also helps if you dry the inside of the drainer so soda doesn’t stick as easy fyi!

"Man that's some good coffee." lol @ 3:15

We never saw if the pipes were clogged.

BOIL the vinegar first?
What if you have standing water? my drain in my kitchen has water coming backing up from an upstairs drain.. so, dumping dry soda into the water.. and vinegar.. I guess would dilute?
this is for upkeep not to clear a clogged drain
Can this same method be done with little water stuck in drain?
Yes but I would use less baking soda, 1/2 to 1/4 cup, and more vinegar 1 cup and maybe a half.

I start running hot tap water immediately to clear everything out and it seems fine
you should wait 30 to 60 days before using the sink.

Would malt vinegar and baking soda work. I don't have white wine vinegar?
Do you have balsamic vinegar
You could go to the store...
Because the ‘Maintenance Man’ cant tell you how much baking soda.. by he the Maintenance man lol
I would do this twice
Unfortunately baking soda ang vinegar did not work in unclogging my kitchen sink.

This is just upkeep for your system to clean it... If you have a clogged system it's not going to unclog it.
Didn’t work
Lemon juice smells better in the coffee pot

will this method work for bathroom sewer smell?is it okay to use it in the toilet and in the floor drain, please?

If it doesn't work, call a plumber as it's a problem you won't be able to, I know!
Is the boiling water safe to use down those plastic pipes ?
Water has a boiling point of 100° C, plastic has an average of 170° C you'ld need a liquid with a melting point higher than water's to melt the pipes.
Considering I pour boiling water down mine everytime I drain pasta and vegetables, I think it's fine
@@desu474 lol, "you'ld"
I like that and I'm stealing it. Thank you
Nancy, when you make pasta, do you drain it in the kitchen sink?

Never saw a clogged drain
What you expect, he to do it right, or just expect other to believe
Dude, you need to get a new sink.
Hoping for pyro or explosions? You know you need fire to have those...
Take that sink and burn it.
Cool is spelt c o o l not k o o l

How??
Why wouldn't you show the drain clogged 1st to prove your point bro
You didn’t use enough baking soda. It’s literally pennies. So, yeah, it was disappointing.
Has anybody here done this and had issues with the use of hot boiling water?
It’s not just the drain that needs cleaning…
