One thing that bothers me to this day is how little development we've seen from Usopp since he discovered Haki. I don't need a huge arc but I'd have loved to see a panel of him practicing observation Haki so we can know he's on a path. Maybe show a single panel of him asking any of the many other strawhats about this obviously helpful skill.
I like the idea, but one problem about that is that the straw hats dont really talk about each others powers very much too each other. The only time the straw hats mention their crewmates abilities, is when they are exhausted over after a crazy fight and one member explains what happens too the rest. Even the time with Nami getting her new climate tact, she only mentioned Ussop helping her build it. Which by the way, the man didn't even understand what he was building for Nami half the time.
oda doesn't do that, he wouldn't show signs of practicing or talking about it unless he were to mention it, then flashback to it, or when he uses it when he's in combat.
Oda usually just gives his characters the power ups without too much training. It happens mid fight and in Usopps fight against Ulti and Page One, him and Nami mostly relied on trickery
I feel as if this were to happen, it will probably be Elbaf. That is setup to be like Usopp's arc since pre-timeskip, and its getting closer and closer. Wano was more focused on the monster trio, Egghead is a Franky and Robin arc, so I could see Usopp looking for more training from Dory and Broggy on Elbaf when we get there.

Every straw hat either had a redemption back story (Zoro and Sanji) or a clear cut backstory except for Usopp. His only development was knowing his pops is part of Shanks crew and that Usopp gets a little braver every arc. He needs his own development and one of his goals was to make it to Elbaf. So let's see how it goes.
One thing that Tekking gets wrong about Akainu is that he thinks he's arrogant. Akainu would absolutely fight against Ussop with the same strength and brutality as he would for a yonkou. And even now, Ussop has Ace's bounty. Akainu is NOT underestimating him
Akainu is pretty arrogant in the sense he firmly believes in his own justice over everything even human life, but he hates pirates enough that he wouldn't risk letting any escape alive.

As weird as it is, your outro really gave me some hope. Strangely enough, when you moved out of your moms place I was moving from my apartment because my girlfriend and I split up. It’s been so difficult to move on and accept the change in my life, because I thought I was going to be with this person forever. But seeing you leave your home, the place where I’ve watched you for almost a decade now, and see you cope with your transition so seamlessly as far as we see on the screen, idk. It just gives me a sense of normalcy. Thank you for including that last bit tekking. You always seem to help time pass by a little bit easier. I'm not gonna lie, at first I didn't realize where exactly you were but part of me knew you were either in your room in your new place or somehow the room at your old house where you recorded your reviews got big enough to hold a bed in it considering how tiny it was in there. I've been watching you consistently since around the time Thousand Year Blood War started in the manga and as much as I miss the old set up still, I'm glad you were able to move forward and get to where you're at now. Both in terms of what you do on here and in your personal life too.

I knew this was a joke all along, but I do believe Usopp beats everyone through Croc, and would probably be useful as a support against Enel. If Usopp actually uses his observation, and considering the amount of damage he can tank, he's pretty strong.
I don't know I think the whole scenario kinda doesn't take Crocodiles intelligence into account. Like there's no way he'd allow someone like Usopp to reach him at the vulnerable moment when he's taking a shower of all things. Like Crocodile is no dumb ass and I'd imagine he'd have plenty of underlings nearby while he takes his daily showers, he's not gonna allow the opportunity to be sniped when he steps out of it. Even Daz Bones alone is gonna jump in and deflect a sniper attack if a sniper attack was even an option. Like do we not recall what Alabasta was like Crocodile had a plan upon a plan upon a plan and one thing after the next would occur if his plan was foiled. Only way I could see this opportunity arising is if Usopp infiltrates the organization Crocodile runs and becomes trusted enough to be on guard while Crocodile is showering. 1 vs 1 I think Crocodile proved himself enough to where he'd win against Usopp, I even think in a lot of ways he lost to Luffy cause of severely underestimating him and Luffy having plot armor. Also doesn't the world government have any confident snipers at all? If they do and this is a viable option wouldn't they have tried to get him in the shower? I feel like what Oda talks about when he talks in these exurbs should not be taken as literal gospels as he probably hasn't planned out the implications of every little detail.

Observation Haki is a big difference maker for Usopp, as well as the Dues Ex Popgreen utilities. As for all the Logia DF users - outside of the Admirals (who seem to all have the Observation Haki to warp around attacks), Usopp with Observation Haki, Pop Green diversions, and Seastone ammo could stomp a Logia

He will know Ussop is coming from miles. the only reason Luffy won, is cause he did not know about the existence of rubber as a material, also he underestimated Luffy's perseverance and gave him a weapon that is effective against him.
Usopp has a Pop Green that functions like a Sprinkler (used during Wano) so he has the tools needed to weaken Crocodile After beating Whitebeard, Kaido would probably give Usopp a meeting where Usopp can challenge Kaido to a drinking contest. Using his tricks Usopp ends up drinking Kaido under the table (this may take several days) then he can use his Sea Stone Chainsaw to take Kaido's head. With Shanks he just needs to go at him from the left, Shanks cannot defend himself from that side.
Usopp has a higher potential than opportunity gives him. He's best at range with prep time but he rarely if ever gets that. His fear and general reliance on the crew taking care of threats prevents him from showing better potential.

A regular punch from an Admiral or higher would leave Usopp’s head as a bloody stain on the wall. Not to mention, Sakazuki and Kuzan were shown to use futuresight in Marineford.

The biggest threat to Usopp trying to take down other One Piece characters would be future sight and observation haki. There are hacks to take down really strong characters in the One Piece universe easily, especially if they are devil fruit users but observation haki stops a lot of those things from happening most likely. The only way Usopp could realistically beat characters with observation haki is if he catches them when they aren't calm or emotionally vulnerable, such as when the Big Mom saw Mother Caramels picture break. Then he would need something that could defeat them quickly such as drowning a devil fruit user in sea water or luring a sea king to chomp their head off. Or he could just shoot two devil fruits into their mouth causing them to most likely die.

The biggest threat to Usopp trying to take down other One Piece characters would be future sight and observation haki. There are hacks to take down really strong characters in the One Piece universe easily, especially if they are devil fruit users but observation haki stops a lot of those things from happening most likely. The only way Usopp could realistically beat characters with observation haki is if he catches them when they aren't calm or emotionally vulnerable, such as when the Big Mom saw Mother Caramels picture break. Then he would need something that could defeat them quickly such as drowning a devil fruit user in sea water or luring a sea king to chomp their head off. Or he could just shoot two devil fruits into their mouth causing them to most likely die.
Devil fruit users are weak when submerged in any water they have no additional weakness in sea watter
