Everybody should go through the tedious home improvement paint job, at least once. Gives you a great feeling of self-satisfaction/accomplishment at the end result! I draw the line at electrical work though. LOL

Girl , my parents decided to paint their WHOLE house in one weekend and i remember to cry every hour . Between the body aching , the paint smell , the trips to the store , the arguing ..... NEVER AGAIN

My husband and I painted our whole house and watching you guys just brought back so many flashbacks of the stress and how sore we were and the fights!!!! It was THE WORST!!! But there’s also a great feeling of accomplishment like “we did that! Together!”

I enjoyed this so much guys! Julia you are beautiful without the tanner! I think you should try San Tropez bronzing water gel (for when you want to be darker tho)! It develops in 4-6 hours and doesn’t transfer even right after its applied! Smells amazing!

U guys did great my husband and I were painting textured walls too many coats and do overs they made it looks so easy on HGTV! Our marriage survived painting and it nothing compared to the garbage disposal replacement!

Probably my favorite vlog from y’all. Solid couple right here. There is so much quality verbal reflection packed in here♥️ Call me crazy (I’m a personal trainer, heavy wt lifter & nutrition nut) but I painted my entire house by hand with a little help from my husband (he works a ton). My advice: never paint pregnant or immediately post partum (I always use ZERO VOC). I did such a crappy job in my master bathroom.

I just painted but I used the Behr ultra ( 1 step above the premium plus) and it covered in two coats (I painted blue onto white so I’m sure a light color would be even better). Idk what happened with the 7 gallons! Quite a large room though... love the video...
You can have any Behr colors mixed into Marque which has primer in it. Was a bit of a disagreement that we needed 2 gallons for a small room. Well 1 gallon covered so I used the same blue green in my kitchen. Good thing my area rugs had the same color in it. Painting ugly paneling this year , will be several years before I can remove it, painting it a dark red rust color. 3 walls of windows . I think we will need a primer. I had to admit it.🤣 love Home Depot, my master is turquoise with gray Accents in my master bath is grey with turquoise accents. I wanted a beach colored, I had tons of samples. The clerk at HD suggested the right colored, didn't want it like the 60 or 70. This looks like the color of the ocean, my happy spot.
Painting is the worst!!! I’m in the Navy and I’ve had to needle gun paint to remove it (in a 100 degree engineering space) prime it then paint it, only to find out they gave me the WRONG PAINT!!! It didn’t dry for TWO weeks. Then I was told to wipe up the paint with gasoline and paint again 🥴 Glad you guys stuck it out!

People literally know my name at Walmart lol .. and painting is soooo hard and a workout .. it does get to you and make you so grumpy because it is such hard work.. me and my hubby started painting the kitchen and we were so over it we still haven’t finished lol

Watching this is giving me major flashbacks - my husband and I painted our whole entire house ourselves a month ago (5 bed 2.5 bath colonial) it was HELL. I actually didn’t mind the walls but I will never paint a damn ceiling myself again

Lol at the drips, we just finished painting our entire house that we are renovating and my boyfriend literally left drips EVERYWHERE!!!! I had to go back and sand them down and the repaint it😂😂 we used the polar bear paint by behr for the whole house and it turned out incredible. Anyways we can definitely relate to the stress that comes with painting lol, in the future anything that needs painted will be done by a professional for sure😅😂

Every couple fights during painting, I even remember my parents fighting while painting. My dad liked white while my mom like color like me. Funny painting 1 room here shortly, same thing here. Texture is hard to paint, there are special brushes and rollers.

Okay so I don't know what I missed I was like doing stuff around the house and when I came back to watch it was on the part of the Vlog where you guys were returning the paint sprayer I guess were you guys using a sprayer to paint your walls inside of the house? Lol I thoughly enjoyed this....i went through a very similar situation myself...but I had to do it all by myself 2 years after major neck surgery....all to save a buck....it about put me in the hospital...my neck was fu****. Loving your vids and the fact that you guys keep it real. 👍🐾

I have never related to something so much in my life until this video. My boyfriend and I have been working on painting both our living rooms, hallway, and kitchen/dining room. This whole project has lasted about a month on JUST ONE LIVING ROOM. I painted all interior 9 ft ceilings (not as high as yours) by myself. I am 4'9" and I was so sore. My husband was no help.
