Sorento’s is so good. We definitely popped in there a couple times 🍕 the food, self serve coffee and tea are free. If you want a latte or fun drink they do cost money.
Good question, I dont think I've come across a guide on everything free but generally speaking the only "additional" costs on a cruise are things you decide to buy (shopping, jewelry, etc...), tips/gratuity which you can pre-pay in advance, but you will have a cost after the cruise if not paid ahead. Lastly restaurants / excursions and in some cases activities on board. We'll work to creating a guide for all the free things on a ship, its a wonderful idea. Formal night on Royal Caribbean can go anywhere from dress/slacks and a collared shirt (with our without tie) all the way yup to full on tuxedos. You'll see all kinda on the ship however you can get away with slacks and a collared shirt, usually I go with a tie but I avoid the sports coat / blazer. For women it's more like cocktail dress all the way to ball grounds. If you don't want to participate you absolutely can either go to the buffet or have room service. Hey Lauren. When at port if you are purchasing food at a restaurant you will have to pay for it. The only time it is free with Royal Caribbean is when you visit their private island Perfect Day at Cococay. We have a video telling you everything you need to know about Cococay. Hope that helps 😊

I dont believe it does, however we have not been on Liberty recently, I say that only due to this comment (www.reddit.com/r/royalcaribbean/comments/stg378/comment/hx81lix/?context=3) of someone who went on it recently highlighting that it doesn't. I went to book a RC cruise for this December, but had to PAY first before I could view the dining packages, so I cancelled my booking. Why can't you book you dining package and drinks' package while you are booking your cabin ? I won't be sailing with them, too hard
Not a fan of Windjammer. Too busy and too many kids running around. Hard to find a place to sit. We go to breakfast at other places including the main dining room. Park Cafe MUCH BETTER!

12 per stateroom The Royal Caribbean website states 12 cans/ bottles/ cartons, up to 17 ounces per stateroom and only on boarding day. Medical and Infant milk/ distilled water can be brought on as necessary.
Very good question. If you want to get a feel for cruising you can take a short cruise out of Miami to the Caribbean and see what you think. If there is a region you really want to see like Alaska or the Mediterranean I say go for it 😊

Maybe try a short cruise to see how you feel 😊 My dad was worried as he suffered as a kid but the ships and technology has improved so much he doesn’t have an issue.
Not all the food is free. They do have speciality restaurants that cost money. This video just tells you about the free one. If you haven’t cruised before an agent can help you book and ensure you have all you need. We usually just book from the RC website. Hope that helps 😊

Windjammer was open for dinner for us, likewise on Mardi Gras (not royal but another example) the buffet was open for dinner so I think they are closer to cruising before the restart. Hope that helps, happy travels Mark 🦩
Disappointing food shown on Celebrity and its not what they used to serve. Booked two for this year and Im not feeling good about it now....Looks like they really cut back on food and its all mediocre..
