I did a clock with fresh rose petals. They did turn brown as yours did, after the resin layer.

Use latex when doing the final coat. It saves effort of sending the dripping on the other side

Hi Mary, would a solid colour layer of resin at the bottom of the table work so the legs of the table are not visible? Or perhaps resin legs set into the table top, (I have seen Nick Zametti do this by using a tool to drill a wide circular hole partly into the resin) if you would like to keep the table see through, you might need to make your table a bit thicker? I am just wondering, I have never worked with resin. Beautiful table 😍

My mold is 40 cm in diameter, it requires a little less than 3 kg of resin.
I buy Thai resin, because I live in Thailand, I advise you to buy medium viscosity resin, without a strong smell.
