He used a lot of tools off cam. Do you think the piece of wood arrived in that condition and the legs were manufactured perfectly. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful table but lots of tools and equipment were used..

It would’ve been cool to also make the whole table round with resin all the way around and different sea life in each hole
They did it the easy way. To make your idea it would have to be done the proper way. Filling all the way with epoxy and then the flattening and polishing on all sides.
That was the same concept I had more pockets of water

What a fantastic video! When you get a slab like the one used in the video, are there any steps required (i.e. letting it sit to dry out, treating with a certain chemical) before it can be made into a piece of furniture?
I know I am two years late, but yes. The most important thing to do is ensure it's dry. Wet wood will rot, no matter what. The general rule is 1 year of drying for every inch thick the slab is. A kiln drying service will speed this up exponentially. I actually have a few slabs in a kiln across town right now!
Awesome table and great job. I am curious of what brand epoxy you used as I have seen others and you can see the layers for each pour. With yours I do not see this, also how long between pours. Thank you.

I can't believe the epoxy didn't end up on the floor. I have had togo hard core because of too many You Tube videos using tape and hot glue. Saying that, I really like the piece - it's a work of art.

I have an important time sensitive question. I am doing glass tile on the floor using clear epoxy as grout. What can I wipe the surface of the glass tile with while keeping the clear epoxy in grout lines? I will use a rubber squeegee to get the majority of material up.
