Hello! Tysm for the video! I’m trying to find face paint for a friend. He doesn’t use it at parties or anything so I’m assuming he just wants to do it as a hobby. Do you think this pallet would be good for that (he wants a bigger pallet)? If not, do you have any recommendations? Also, what brushes do you recommend?
If your friend is just using for practice, this is fine - there are other stores that carry larger kits such as Jest Paint, Art Factory, Facepaintcom and Silly Farm for more choices. These stores carry professional face paint kits and more. They are my standard when buying for on the job.
Hi @AvaHil - are you taking about a split pallet or just one with basic colors? Fusion Carnival Kit has a combo of both and is a good pallet to have. And I love Leanne's pallets too. If you just want one with solids. There is a host to chose from. Kraze Splash 12 is also a mix of solid/split cake. Fusion Ultimate is a good mix of solid colors - and Global has a pallet of all colors is 10gm size.
I just purchased this and like you say some colours are better than others but the thing I found the strangest is the brush they provide with the palette isn't even big enough to get the whole split cake on x
Oh that's so true - I guess because I had my own brushes I didn't truly pay attention to the quality of the brushes they sent. But thanks for mentioning!
Thank you for this video! I just started getting into face painting and I want to buy some paints with clean ingredients. Do you have any recommendations?
I love Fusion paints, one of my favorites along with Global, Chameleon, Krylon - so many good ones to choose from that are well known. I only use this kit (Bowitzki) for practice currently. Check out these stores for a combo pack..... Jestpaint.com, Artfactoryus.com, Facepaint.com or Sillyfarm.com. All great places to purchase from.
Yes, this pallet has the majority of what you need to get started. You can feel a difference in paint with other brands, but honestly for the price, it's a good deal!
Thanks for your comment. Have you had an issue with this product? I use this as a currently as a practice pallet; however would like to know your comments on this.
I got asked to face paint at our church event. So it seems this palette could work. Thank you for the review!
Your welcome. I hope you have a successful event!
