I haven’t understood lol why everyone reviewing this monitor has complained about it being wobbely. Like as if when your gaming your gonna be shaking the monitor the entire time.

Because there are hundreds of better monitors that don't wobble, if you pay $900 you expect quality and this monitor is not $900 quality. Its cheaply made. Personally I hate monitors that wobble, I have four monitors all different price range and if a $250 monitor can be sturdy and build feel is amazingly good there's no excuse for sonys $900 monitor to feel like a cheap plastic pile of crap.

@@mattg768 It's disgracefull from these companies to offer consumers that kind of products for so much money. In comparation 1500$ Apple studio display seams like a bargain compared to others with build quality.

Purchased this monitor when it was released and am using it with my PS5 and M1 MacBook Pro. So far I’m loving it except for some parts of the HDR. I say some parts because when watching movies and gaming in HDR, I notice the local dimming (when set to high) causing the image to exhibit haloing that looks different from what I’ve seen in other Sony LED backlight displays. This only happens in a pitch black room with no bias lighting but it’s actually kinda distracting. To the point where I feel like turning local dimming to low is a better option with HDR content. I find it’s most noticeable with contrasty HDR movie scenes but when you know what to look for it’s noticeable with pretty much all HDR content. You get haloing in the form of squiggly white lines that move around frame depending where highlighted objects/subjects are in the frame. Not sure if it’s just my panel but given that the monitor has none of the screen defects people have been posting online about, I want to say I have a solid panel. Just wondering if anyone can add to this discussion. I love this monitor and if this is a normal backlight consequence on a 27 inch screen, I’m willing to put up with it. But if it’s a defect, then I feel like I should swap it out while the return window is still good. Thanks all 🤘🏼

Hi Minimal, running into a bit of an issue. I currently own the TCL R646. I love it for my PS5. I am PC gamer. I realized I still like playing PC. My question is do you recommend having a TV or monitor. If so do you think the Gigabyte M28U is enough or should I swallow my pride and keep the R646 due to how great of a TV it is?

Love this monitor! I love how it pairs with the PS5 and my PC. This is the best monitor between an OLED and an IPS monitor with no local dimming. The colors are good! HDR is good! I wish it did come with cables at least a DP, a USB-B. I guess they assume you will have an HDMI 2.1 since you will be pairing this with your PS5. I agree with the reviewer that the stand is horrible. They should give us some options to purchase without a stand and maybe lower the price. This monitor should be priced at 699 or 750. Not 899.

I just picked up a 42" C2 for my PC and console use. It's worth the extra price for a better well around TV/monitor. I even picked it over the 34" AW QD-OLED as that doesn't have HDMI 2.1 and I'm not a fan of the curve. Also with the C2 I could make it 21:9 or 32:9 if I need to. Once you go OLED you can't go back too. 😁

The input scanning killed this display for me, as well as the construction not feeling well for $900.

Did the hdmi cable that you switched out fix the “ scanning for signal “ issue on the series X ? Because if it doesn’t I might just have to return this monitor. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice and all but for 800 dollars I shouldn’t have that issue.
Yeah dude fixed all the issues. Honestly not sure what all that was about. I was originally using the hdmi that came with my series x but swapped to that high bandwidth llano one. Not sure if my cable was faulty but it only had issues with this monitor.

A lot of people are commenting on the speakers, but it's a monitor. Monitors don't have speakers, so the irony is that you can only compare it to devices that have speakers. It's not a T.V.
Benq gives you 5w speakers with a subwoofer built in. They make great monitors as well!!

They should make a QD OLED display panel as Sony Inzone M10. Glossy, 4K, 27" and G-SYNC ULTIMATE certification for PC as well with HDMI 2.1.

Have you had any issues with actually enabling HDR on that monitor with your series x? My ps5 hdr works great but when I turn it on for Xbox it always says it’s off on the monitor menu? I’m confused
It's a PlayStation and PC monitor it's not made for Xbox

When I boot up games like Horizon Forbidden West and GoW Ragnorak. The screen turns black and says scanning for input but it doesn’t do it on games like Fotnite and FIFA just graphically demanding games. I finding it really annoying, this is my first gaming monitor. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix it? I purchased an official licensed Sony hdmi 2.1 cable and still doing it btw
The monitor is likely converting between the 60hz refresh rate of the menu to 120hz of the game
Between this and neo g8 which one is better for console but also wanted to future proof it for a while ?
Neo G8 is much better than the Inzone M9.
The mini led backlight with 1196 dimming zones will give significantly better contrast than the 96 zones of the inzone will ever be capable of.
Neo G8 works perfectly fine with consoles and have a higher refresh rate aswell (Which you only would be able to fully utilize on a pc)
There is really no competition here when it comes to image quality.
The only reason to choose the inzone M9 over the Neo G8 would be if you absolutely need to have built in speakers in your monitor.
Even though a 10$ set of speakers would outperform the built in speakers in the inzone.
The Inzone M9 is a great display compared to most other options on the market but it just can't keep up with mini led monitors.

I have been lucky to have many monitors and TV's to try and own in the past.
However, if you want the best experience, PLEASE forget the rest and get the
LG Oled C2 Evo 42'' panel.
MYYYYYYYYYYYY GOD, i am still giggling at certain games because they just look, feel and play different.
The RT and IL on the C2 is that of a high end gaming monitor, it has every function you could want to play and be as competitive as any other gaming monitor on the market, VS, VRR, 120Hz, X4 HDMi 2.1 ports.
The clarity and buttery smoothness is too die for, the blacks are deep and rich, the whites are piercingly bright.
The tone and depth of colour is something else that literally made my jaw drop, and the 42'' size is perfect for both story driven games and online shooters.
There is not a single spec this thing doesn't have.
For only £999, it is a no brainer.
I have a C2! I freakin love it. It’s my main tv in the living room. It most definitely is top notch.

@@haidr.habib.official2839 I’ll answer for him. This Moniter supports 4k@144Hz. The ps5 can only support 4k@120Hz. So this Moniter will allow the ps5 to show its true potential so it will enhance your warzone experience

Hey. I have ps5 and i play on LG CX. The main issuse i have is my eye sight. When i get tierd i cant see well because i sit on couch which is too far from Tv. So i want to buy M9 for a desk setup. Is M9 monitor good like LG CX for gaming on PS5 or worst or betteer. ?tnx
I think if you’re used to the CX the M9 might feel washed out colour wise. The CX is an OLED display.
You’ll wanna look into OLEDs. My recommendation would be the KTC 27” oled or the LG version. Both are 1440p though.
Still they’re incredible looking.
The new 4k oled monitors come out this spring though.

I’m trying to decide between this and Samsung G7 for Warzone on PS5. I’m obviously waiting for 1440p support to come out of beta but the biggest appeal of the G7 for me is the VA panel instead of IPS.
Neo g7 is better. But hurts my head n eyes on the curve. If u mean the regular g7 then this monitors better
I have had it for 4 days and I am returning it today. It's a mess. I feel like Sony is sending out special monitors to the professional reviewers because if you read the reviews from people who have purchased it most people are not keeping it.

@@Kung_Fu_Kenny the va is better if ur not using local dimming. The contrast ratio on the va is 2,500-1 while the m9 is the average 1,000-1 but with local dimming on i hear its around 18,000 to 1 while the g7 i believe has no full aray so it sticks to its 2,500 to 1. Now the neo g7 blacks are inky n beautiful due to its 1,000+ zones but i just cant handle the curve gets me sick

Just a question…when I play at 120fps on the ps5…. My graphics turn a little blurry and can’t see as far in game… how come ?

The resolution drops significantly when you play at high framerates like 120fps

I have this mom hooked up on my Ps5
I thought it was okay. Good colors and bright highlights, but the blooming was really jarring, and I had multiple input detection issues. When a match of League of Legends would end, or I'd alt tab from a game to a browser to look something up, the monitor would go in to "input detection" mode (despite that feature being manually disabled) and blackscreen on me. It'd eventually pop back in, but having that happen at the end of each match or every time I alt tab around was no good. The fact that it didn't include any cables and had a very cheap stand were further turnoffs at that pricepoint. I assembled mine as instructed but it was askew. I even pulled out a level to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and it was definitely cockeyed on the stand. Too many warts for that price.

About to return mine for that reason. Playing league and black screen every match so annoying
@@WolfyRedz Yeah, it just makes the experience like gaming with a limp. At first I tried to do some mental gymnastics but after 5+ input issues I bounced.
if you get external power adapter it means you are lucky .. My lg 4k adapter got fucked up 3 times I bought every time from outside and it worked back again .. if its internal we are doomed we have to buy another monitor

The latest LG 4k 120hz monitor is better than this one, I have both and LG’s monitor is perfect for the PS5. The HDR is BEAUTIFUL on games like Horizon.

It’s a great alternative to the super pricy desks on the market.

I really wanted storage so I went with storage. These Alex drawers are 27.5 inches tall
And this countertop is 74” in length and depth is about 30”. There’s a 74”x42” option though for super deep desks.
Then they have a wild 98”long version but you’d need something half way to stop the centre from sagging over time. They sell like $10 Adil legs at ikea too I’ve seen people screw that into the centre of the super long 98” length one

Every ips has a glow there’s no way around it unless oled

@@Deoxsity no, Rn I have odyssey g7(32) which is amazing for ps5, and the other one is gp 950-b sucks cause it was an ips glow especially during black scenes, I’m supposed to get my inzone today, so I’ll let you know

For that amount of money, you're much better off getting the LG C2 42" OLED or Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED. It's a decent enough monitor but not worth the price at all.

Agreed. I really want it but in Canada it’s $1200 Before our ridiculous 15% tax. imagine paying $1380 for that monitor it’s just insane. And the fact that you could get a LG C1 65 inch TV For that price is insane. But with the girlfriend always hogging up our living room TV with her garbage drama “reality” shows I might need to get that monitor to throw on the computer desk next to the iMac and hook up that beautiful ps5 to it so I can trophy hunt instead of watching that garbage that she watches lol . anyway the point is yeah The price is ridiculous and I’m trying to hold off until Black Friday
How is it not worth it ??? You get 4k,HDR,140 hz and HDMI 2,1 with VRR all in a 27 inch monitor package. For a $900 that’s pretty good deal for a monitor
Anything bigger like 32 inches with an OLED screen will cost $1,300 or more.

Lg gp950-b has such an ugly ips glow, trying to find a monitor without a bad glow
The 32GQ950 is great if you’re ok with the size. No glow on the one I got, but I wouldn’t use the HDR, since it’s still an edge lit display.

@@_INVU_ It basically allows a bigger portion of the pixels to shut off completely, So you basically get deeper blacks and more contrast. Most monitors are edge lit, So it creates a really bad HDR experience with a lot of blooming and glow. It's really noticeable if you use HDR on an edge lit display. The new Samsung Neo G8 and G7 monitors are the best options right now, But those have issues of their own and are curved.
