Thanks Alex
Check for vertical lines @Steve. Had quite a few of them and they all had vertical lines which looked like it was due to the implementation of the led layout.
None on mine
Lovely video Tech Steve :)
This was a really good review
Great review! Thank you for sharing 😄
You’re welcome
Great review, really happy with this purchase
Great
Lovely review Steve!
Thanks Muhammad 👍
Nice! Monitor looks great. Quick question what do you have mounted on the wall running the Xbox?
If you please Tech Stevie, since you saw in person this and Gigabyte M32UC how would you compare them: colors…ghosting…I kinda dislike local dimming even miniled, and M32UC is just old school no brightness fluctuation and no local dimming…but what concerns me is colors ghosting backlight bleed…please can you give some down to earth advice? TY TS
Bravo to Sony
Did you notice any faint vertical lines?
How come my HDR on my M9 doesn’t look better than my SDR?
My question is what game did he have in the first two seconds of the video?
Hey I was wondering if you'd have any idea as to why I'm running into this issue
When I have this hooked up to my laptop, I'm able to select up to 120hz , but
When I have it hooked up to my PS5 or PC, its only available up to 60Hz
On the "Video Output Information" tab, Under the "supported" section, it shows that it recognizes up to 120 Hz display, but on the "Current Video output signal" it only shows 60Hz
I have turned off Eco mode, Messed with VRR, HDR and all the settings it offers
I've changed the HDMI cable
I even ran the update through the hub app, which was a pain to figure out properly, and still
I am only able to run up to 60Hz
I figured it would be just an issue with the monitor itself, but its weird that on my Laptop it recognized 120hz, but not on my PS5 or PC
I hope that you are able to help , Thank you
No hablo inglés pero en el menú de ps5 siempre la salida es a 60 hz !!! Cuando inicies un juego compatible en 120hz el monitor cambiará de 60hz a 120 hz
can you also connect a soundbar as an audio output to this monitor? thanks for answering.
Only with analog 3.5mm cables
Hey Steve for the Hisense 55 class u75 quantum ULED 4k UHD smart Google Tv do you know if it’s cheaper at Costco? Best Buy has it for $599 what was the Costco price? Thank you for the videos
Also is there a difference between u7h and u75h?
Watch the unboxing video
I have this monitor!!! Thanks Steve!!!!!
Does this monitor work without a pc connected to it?
It accepts any HDMI source
Hey Steve
How do you update the software in this monitor?
Go to there website, download the software, then upload to monitor.
Hey is this monitor the same as the m3 ?
no
A 32 inch size would be better
he doesn't talk about the banding
That mainly happens on TVs when you have a low quality signal
@@TechSteve no my friend. I would recommend you do your research.
Ok, that’s my opinion, you don’t have to use the information
The monitor supports AMD just fine, the blooming is due to a a low count of independent back lights with the FALD (it has 96 zones), the stand is awful and barely supports any adjustment, it's a KVM not KM, connected to a PC it will do 4k @ 144Hz fine on Displayport 1.4a or USB-C 40Gbps.
Mate if you are going to review stuff then either be subjective or do your homework and get facts straight. Dont just make up shit you dont understand.

@@ITRiBUTEI I'm guessing it's a cable issue. This is what I know:
My PC is connected using a DisplayPort (DP) cable and my videocard supports DP 1.4a; 1.4 and 1.4a should be able to drive the panel at full refresh rates but 1.4a has better Display Stream Compression (DSC) support for HDR.
My Laptop is connected using the Thunderbolt 4 port and I'm using a USB-C 40Gbps cable. This is enough for again full refresh rate and also sending webcam, microphone, keyboard, mouse back to the laptop. (Laptop is running Linux so YMMV on Windows/Mac).
Looking at the HDMI specs, which you may be using for the PC and absolutely will be using for the PS5 you need a HDMI 2.1 rated cable to drive 4k at 120Hz. I know for sure the PS5 has this capability, but the PC is dependent on GPU.
My suggestions would be to validate whether your PC graphics card can support either DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4 is the better option as you should get 144Hz instead of 120Hz. (For guidance, Radeon RX5*** or NVIDIA 16** or newer should support 1.4a). Check the length of the cables, signals degrade as the cables get longer so a 1m will likely have a cleaner signal than a 3m one. Finally a better cable rated for either HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4a and see if that fixes it. In my experience, cables you have just laying around or some cheapo cable without specs listed will not be good enough to carry the signal at full refresh rate.
Hope that helps!
Edit: Older GPU's may only have HDMI 2.0, so don't use that; it will lock to 60Hz for sure - definitely use the DP option.
@@spacechannelfiver im gonna try the HDMI 2.1
It's weird because on my laptop which is newer it supports up to 120hz with the same cable
My PC is an old piece of trash so I'm not too worried about that one but the same cable o used for the laptop I use for PS5 and I get 120hz on laptop but only 60 Hz on PS5
I appreciate the thorough reply though thank you my friend
