- This week I visit a plant fair at Cholmondeley Castle where I buy some plants and also enjoy the gardens and grounds which are spectacular. I show you what I recently thrifted and at last I am planting things into outside beds!

The plant fair looked fantastic, what a lovely day out. Great clothing bargains too!
It really was a fabulous day and I'm really pleased with my thrifted bargains 😊x
I thrift. I haven't really needed anything lately so haven't been in. I had not thought to look in men's clothing for nice warm sweaters, great idea. I've been in the garden a lot -- and there's still a lot to do.. planting, weeding, etc. There is always something to do around here.
There in indeed, but I suppose that's why we love it 😀 x
Lovely video! I have recently bought a few white cotton button down shirts at a charity shop. I plan to wear them for work, under a cardigan, over a camisole/vest. I hope I can keep them clean, and out of the garden :) I love your dresses and jumper.
This made me chuckle 😃 the amount of times I've said I won't wear things around the farm or when gardening, it never lasts 😂 x
Happy May, Roo! It was near freezing here last night (western Oregon) but sun forecasted for the next ten days. Hopefully the ground will dry out a bit-it is so soggy! And the slugs are out of control even with all the beer pubs we stock for them. I got some cute peasanty type shirts from a thrift shop last week that will be perfect for garden days. Hope you have a restful week with satisfying books! -Kryn
Thanks Kryn, I like the sound of those tops, and doesn't it feel all the better when they're thrifted! 😊 x
Al and a friend of ours just went out to breakfast and a day of thrifting yesterday. We love doing that.

Hi Roo, love the local plant hunters fair, it's been a while since I've been to one but I recognize the label of who you got the plants from.
Do you know that he has open days at his nurseries twice a year, he's very local to another you tuber you know and the dates are end of May and June.
I've only just discovered them and will definitely be going to more, I will have to look for those open days, thanks 😊 x
