A pro tip for saving yourself the trouble later, to remove the backing of any 3M adhesive backings, just use a hair comb, brush it over the corner and it will separate them instantly. Takes no time at all.
@@VECTOR_Coasters 11 riders in my group, 8 on EXn going on 2 years and probably 50k Mike's between us, the only problem any of us had was changing the stock tire out and 1 dead headlight. Once Begode became complete owner instead of Gotway, QC went way up.
@@CaughtInTheMiddle0823 (this excludes the ex30) they all have no water proof rating, hot charge ports, no temperature sensors in the battery, no smart bms, no dual hall sensors, some wheels are transported without transport mode, the master, t4 and master pro all had motor issues, the old shells of their wheels (msp, rs, and exn) all have shells that are as water proof as a sock (that’s easily fixable though), all of them have hot charge ports as far as im aware, no tilt back for over torque, etc but they have improved a little which is good
@@VECTOR_Coasters wow from what you say, it is crazy anyone would ever ride a Begode wheel. And yet so many do, and have none of the issues you talk about above... because those issues are very uncommon. All makes have issues here and there. Begode according to many (those who sell/repair/ride), are now very high quality
@@greenwave819 they happen more then other manufactures and also people ride them because of the extreme power and they are not high quality besides the ex20
Thanks Andrew and Jimmy! Happy New Year! There are quite a few folks in the BAESK8 group already rocking Master Pros. I only have a Master but learned to do the following before I ended up getting one: 1. Ordered the Grizzla fairings and pads which replaces the stock pads except for the little one on the bottom. 2. Use and X-Acto blade to take the 3M top layer off. You should be able to get between layers easily with the blade. If that proves problematic you can make a little cut and stick the blade inside the cut and lift the top layer off. 3. Ordered a much better shock pump while waiting for my Master to come into stock. I can easily get over 350 with a real pump. 4. Just planned to take the batteries off to remove all the plastic. If you have the tools ready and haven't put on the pads it can be done very quickly. The initial setup isn't great but the ride of the latest Begode wheels is amazing. I loved my EXN HS but have no regrets selling it before the Master arrived. I already knew from the first ride on 134v wheels with suspension that there would be no going back for me. I was able to blast around on the EXN fine through San Francisco but it is soo much better on the Master. Bumps and street obstacles don't impact the Master like the EXN. The Master just doesn't have great range since you can sustain much higher speeds more easily. In addition, the pack is just pretty small in comparison to the big boys. I don't care about doing big air or singletrack on an EUC so the Master line of EUCs works for me. It is great to see all the next generation wheels and what they bring to the community.
Excellent tips to help smooth out those unboxing pain points. Just wish such an expensive wheel came with a more premium unboxing and setup experience. But you are correct, the ride is pretty amazing!
Like Andrew mentioned I wish someone would develop the hardware/software and interface to be able to use our wheels as a backup battery. I'm gonna be buying a Bluetti soon and I want atleast 2000wh but it really sucks knowing I already have the battery on my og Sherman but no way of using it as a backup. Excellent video, hoping to get this wheel in the spring.
That much lithium ion would make you feel like you are riding with a small thermonuclear device between one's legs. If anything goes wrong, it is gonna go out in a blaze of glory. They should add an AC outlet so we can brew coffee while we are on the road, lol. Would it make sense to have an LFP option for those who prioritize safety over range?
Looks pretty cool, too big for me I think. I have a V8S and an EXN, and I use the V8S more for actually doing stuff just because it’s so much easier to deal with. This thing is 15 pounds more than bringing both the V8S and EXN together. Crazy, but I’m sure it’s fun to ride.
You quickly get accustomed to the size over time and then you eventually find yourself missing the power, speed, and suspension when riding other wheels.
I think it depends on where you ride. For pure fun rides, I’m sure you are right. I run errands or carry it up stairs to a train platform or onto a bus many of the trips I ride. EUCs are not legal past 25 mph here, so there’s diminishing values getting a super fast wheel for me. I got the EXN for cheap, even it is more than I’ll likely ever use regularly. I would like suspension eventually, but that’s not a deal breaker.
Besides the total design failure and unboxing experience. The power it has is spectacularly amazing!!! I'd ride the shit out of this wheel if i were given choice! But my wheel is Sherman S. and so i really don't think I will need another wheel for the next several years.
Man, EVERY time I see a Begode wheel I just think "Garbage craftsmanship". They REALLY need to focus on making ONE high quality EUC instead of pumping out wheel after wheel just to steal another company's thunder. It's the little things Begode.
Is it possible if you could review the Dualtron storm limited that would been very nice if u could🙏. Anyways i love your’e videos keep up with the Good work👍
Hey Jimmy and Andrew if you ever remove the paper out from begode pads faster us a olfa exacto blade and grab the paper corner with the blade and youre thumb it goes quick😉
That clanky suspension makes this wheel a non-starter for me.. having to take the wheel off to remove the inner plastic doesn't help either. Thanks for the video : )
Easy 150 - 170 miles real world range on convervative ride, What do you think sirs? 🤔 Hopefully you guys do a vid on it, a conservative and a blast ride...
Put a gob of tape over that beepy excessively loud annoyance to make it quieter, Or replace it with a looping sample player that coughs instead of beeps, like the beginning of that snappy black sabbath tune.
This wheel looks great, but the size alone is such a turn off for me. 118 pounds is crazy! I have a master and a Sherman, and I honestly can’t imagine riding something that’s 30+ pounds heavier than those wheels.
This begs the question, why not market these wheels as portable or backup generators and get the power company/tax subsidies like Elon likes to pimp? Or even just an elaborate karaoke machine... oh yeah, no speakers.
10:00 how about instead of wasting 20 minutes on trying to remove the tape guy use a small sharp tool like a small scissors or blade to get in between the tape and the cover. Kind of common sense but IDK even the shovel on your wall lol will be better than your hand
you should have left the plastic on the battery boxes for 50% improved strength.... Is anything NOT broken on that wheel? AND it came with a checklist... facepalm.jpg

😮 what!? I need to try this!
nice tip ! What works well also is using a craft knife.
Ive found using a Stanley knife blade to lift the paper from the adhesive helps a lot too
Just use scotch tape to pick up corners
I love how you support safety gear!
I'm hooked on my EXN 🙂 Perfect balance of performance, weight, stability and range 👌
yet almost zero safety

Use a blowdryer for adhesive backing! makes it easy to separate the paper back vs adhesive!
Can't wait to see a range test on this!
That’s gonna be a long video! 😅
I believe someone said on UA-cam, that they got 16 miles of range while averaging 44mph

Looks like the ultimate long range street machine
Gotta hand it to Begode! They push the boundary of the profit they can make and what they can get away with.
For the internal plastic covering, push a knitting needle or thin rod and lift. Saves ages of losing that angle while lifting with fingers.
Great tip!

Sheesh. 134.4v? 4800 wh?

I hear people talking about the frame twist. DId you experience this?
Shoddy craftsmanship, all the way around.
Yep, cheap and thrown together, just after speed and distt, don't care about anything else
2023 needs a 70 mph capable EUC
😅 if any company is wild enough to do it, it’s Begode… I’d be happy just to see easy peel adhesive in 2023!

It's just 6 Allen bolts to remove the battery packs so it's not that hard.
6 screws, and ur done. And the linkage will be updated soon, no more noise

Love it!
your logo is brilliant lol
We need a solid after-market trolley handle for it seems just about every Begode model! Still my biggest complaint on the EX.N

Which EUC do you recommend for some 270+ over 6ft? Would love to get into these love the videos!
This one. For ur first wheel- it may be a bit much. It's the heaviest on the market. I'd get a mid range non-suspended wheel to learn on.
