- 12 months after the launch of the new 400 cc platform, Triumph has launched 2 new roadsters in the Indian market: the Speed T4 and the updated Speed 400. Prices for the two bikes are now set at ₹2.17 lakh and ₹2.40 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). While the two motorcycles look more or less the same, the more affordable Speed T4 gets more affordable hardware components like a telescopic fork, front axial brake caliper and bias-ply tyres. Plus, the engine tune is also quite different. The 398 cc single is putting out 30.6 bhp and 36 Nm, which is quite a big difference from the standard Speed 400. Also, it misses out on ride-by-wire and traction control. Grippier Vredestien Centauro ST tyres, span-adjustable levers and 4 new colours can be found on the new Speed 400. And the price hike is ₹6,000. In this video, we bring you all the intricate details of the two new roadsters.

The speed 400 needs to retain the stainless-steel exhaust and also a new instrument cluster along with pricing at about 2.45 to 2.5 ...only then will the t4 make sense as a vfm purchase
Speed 400 should be like
1. Retain the stainless steel exhaust
2. Seat update is good
3. Adjustable leavers are good
4. Instrumental cluster should be updated. Speed indicator in digital and rpm in analog
T4 could have been better if they had added fork gaiters on it. So that it could not just protect the dust accumulation on the fork seals but also makes it more complete.

Their colour scheme seems to be inspired by Royal Enfield. Expect Triumph to be conservative with their colour scheme.

the budget one is aimed at hunter like the Jawa fj, but guys please understand that hunter is unbeatable at 2lakh, now the MY25 is confused on what it is competing with??- claasic cannot be beaten in old world charm, guerilla is better in functionality so i doubt it can do any good numbers in long run, i can be wrong but compromising doesnot work in favour of some brands , it can work in favour of pulsar brand where you want more in less but in triumph we need more in more
Speed 400 is better for 15k..it's a stripped down version of good features
With just one 400cc bike triumph is trying(launching variant) to capture RE's market which is owning so many Bikes in there portfolio.
Triumph's aim currently is to solidify it's number 2 position in the retro motorcycle segment.
But not able to do so. Long terms upkeep cost of triump is higher. Instead make SIPs and save some money
Happily living with my Honda CB 350 RS...less the horses...lesser on power, features...has the adequate set of rider electronic aides & top of all.... It's a Honda.... it's reliable....
Abaolutely corr3ct. Somemhow.th3 japanese know better what we want and how to effficiently design it. In 20 years ford couldnt make a small car for us..with so much tech and stuff...so called. Ford even had ingersolrand forklifts in their factory instead of getting voltas ones.
Honda has had two serious major recalls for the CB350s, still feel it is reliable?

Re guerilla make sense in this price. Bigger engine good top end performance comparable to ktm. Speed top end performance is not good.

Garbage. A premium brand like Triumph is making cheap bike with Bajaj ny comprising the features, standard an price.
May be Bajaj is getting profit. But definitely the Triumph is loosing the brand value.
Imagine Ferrari decided to comet to India and makes supercar (?) of 1200 cc in collaboration with Maruti (not Suzuki)!
