Thank you so much for this wonderful story video Sam. I absolutely can't wait to listen to it later on tonight. One of my fondest memories of youth was going camping each summer in the campervan. Not in the Scottish Highlands but in the White Mountains of New Hampshire not too far from Mt. Washington. Rainfall on summer nights in the mountains was extra special. The campsite was lakeside so it was doubly fun listening to the raindrops as they fell on the lake. I'll never forget the excitement of the thunderstorms as the sound of thunder and cracks of lightning echoed off the mountains around us. Edge of the seat, white knuckles type of scenario and yet enjoying every moment of it. Once the storm passed it was wonderful being lulled to sleep by the pitter patter of raindrops. Thank you for your bedtime story, I know that I'm going to love it. ☁️🌧️⛈️🗻🏕️🚐😊
Thank you, Suzi! That sounds absolutely blissful, I have to say. Aren't some of our earliest (and simplest) childhood memories the most wonderful of all? Love to you. S x
I absolutely love this! It is so emersive. It really feels like we're just hanging out and chatting! I like the beginning getting in the car and your little contented sighs and stuff grunts. It makes it feel more real and natural. Dont get me wrong, i love the stories and history lessons, but lately I loop this video to lull me to sleep ❤.
This is my favorite! I’ve been listening to this every night for weeks. I’m always out within 10 minutes or so. I like it because you’re not just telling a story, it feels like you’re talking to me & I’m with you. It’s an escape! So relaxing.
I am there with you! 😊 I want to make sure I inject as much life as possible into the story. Because I am here for you all, in a very genuine way. Thank you. ❤️ S x
Ah1! You'll never know how happy you've made me :D I'll have a cuppa the Camomile please. I'm just 5 foot tall, tiny even, so you go ahead and move up to the roomy bit as I'll be quite comfy back here. Road trip in the RV (Caravan to you) along all the little backroads stopping at all the interesting looking places and petting the cows is the only way to go. As for the chocolate or beer - we can only have one? :D Thank you as always for all your work and for taking us along.
I can never get past when he takes my coat and gets me cosy in the camper, fast asleep within seconds! My favourite because it's like being with a close friend ❤
I woke up in the middle of the night & heard you talking about your trip to Edmonton & the Canadian Rockies! Welcome to my “hood”. I had the biggest grin on my face hearing you praise my beautiful city & province
Love, love, love this, well, what I have heard so far. I'm sure the rest of it won't disappoint, and I am looking forward to listening some more. Only thing is, it makes me want to go on a roadtrip which is not easy when you're stranded on a tiny island measuring 3 1/2 by 1 1/2 miles, and which you circumnavigate by car in 20 minutes at slow speed and walk in around 4 hours 😢😂
@@SnoozewithSam Just reflecting on why I find rain 🌧️ on the caravan roof soooo soothing and calming 🤔😃.. my dearest Dad used to take me and my family camping to a Lake in New Zealand called Waikarimoana, but it usually rained 🌧️, so my bedtime memories are having a hot chocolate and then being snuggled up in my sleeping bag, and listening to the rain pattering on the caravan roof until I drifted off to sleep 😴..

Grass is always greener.... Thankyou for this ❤
Another vote for more casual-chat “roleplay” stories like this. I’ve been looking for similar things around the yootoobs, but if the story content is what I want, it’s all whispers and audio triggers and too many gimmicks. I just want to sit and chat (well, okay, listen) over a cup of tea until it’s time to go to sleep.

Instagram and Tiktok don't help showing me loads of pictures, I've started quite the collection of Scottish creators actually 😂 Most are actually tour guides but one chef found his way in too 💜.

Still awake at 4 am unfortunately, getting up to get ready for work. We live 2 hours or so south of Canada but on the eastern side, New Hampshire but close to the Vermont border . Have always wanted to go to Canada as well as the Rockies and Alaska but mostly ive been along the eastern coast, once to Texas and New Mexico and a 2 week tour of Germany in 2015. Driving from Massachusetts to Florida last year to pick up my puppy from the breeder was fun too. We lived 30 mins from Boston then ( yes i have the accent 😄) and it was January so we left in a snowstorm. By nightfall we were on North Carolina and it was chilly but nice. The next day by the time we reached southern Florida it was 80 degrees. Took 2 days to drive down but it was loads of fun, very interesting watching the landscape/weather/wildlife change completely.
All incredible memories and trips in their own right! :) The real-time changing climate trips are quite interesting aren't they? Every few hours you have to change clothes haha s x
@@SnoozewithSam yes we did have to bring all sorts of clothes 😄 I loved seeing the changes in plant and animal life along the way. Our hotel in Florida had these giant railings all along the outside and was raised on about 4ft high concert. I asked why , they said so the alligators don't get in the pool. 😬 Then asked why not just a fence? Apparently the big ones can climb over a 4-5 foot fence easily.....yikes. We also saw wild pigs and armadillos running around and they had restuarants with gator meat for sale 😄
Oh WOW !!!! Throughly enjoyed my listen...I never made it to the end of the story....hahaha...ure voice is so very relaxing & felt even better as it felt like u were chatting just to me !!! Thanku so much Sam... Blessings & lottsa luv to ya xxx 😘♥
