- I Had a guy message me and told me he had a wrecked GSXR-1000, he wanted to get rid of it to make the wife happy so I went to check it out and we made a deal and it was significantly cheaper than a bike from COPART but the bike was badly wrecked.
In this video I stripped the frame down so i could send it off for powdercoat.

Need help with parts for my bike use parts its a yama 750 am from Jamaica Am a big fan
11:41 my man hit the ground so hard with his knuckles that you can see his finger indentations in the cardboard after he got back up. Thankfully that cardboard saved the knuckles a little bit at least.
Not to mention my heart broke for you when those header bolts kept snapping.
Bro you're working so damn hard on this. My hats off to you. You're a soldier for this.
Haha yeah it was bad and thanks!

Thanks for the new video. Those exhaust bolts can be a bear. Can’t wait to see the powder coat!
Love your homage to Del Boy.
A breaker bar would be a good investment
? I was using a breaker bar. That’s what snapped off that first bolt.

project alive ?
Hi bro, could you fix me a motorcycle that I am going to buy from crash to take it to Mexico
you are my sensei
I admire your way of working
congratulation
Hey Ben, I have a question for you. Now I'm quite sure that my question may have been answered in one of your videos or maybe someone else's videos. My question to you is, if I want to start doing this kind of stuff, with no real prior experience with actually working on bikes. Which bike should I choose, not for the sake of the bike actually being what I like, but just so that I don't get myself into trouble with something expensive or difficult as a 1st project. I know a lot of people will say that I must start with something I actually would like to ride. The reality of the fact is its not that easy, money is relatively tight so I can't spend to much, and my knowledge is limited for now. I'm a tool maker apprentice so I at least have some form of knowledge in this area, but how things actually work might not be as easy as making them.
If you know nothing about motors or anything I would start out with a two stroke dirtbike, they are light easy to work with single-handedly (these 600s and 1000s are heavy) and two stroke dirtbike‘s are very simple there are no valves just a piston, jug, and some rings in the top end. It’s a great place to start out plus they hold their value very well too I started with a KTM 300 before I knew anything.
@@Benjamminoutdoors Thanks man, I was thinking of doing a older 2 stroke dirt bike as a start. Keep on being awesome 👍

so i screwed something up and i dont have a welder to fix it... suggestion please. I have that K4 i been building and i bought a Vortex Quick Accel set up. When i was taking off the front sprocket the speed sensor nut was fighting me tooth and freaking nail. the head snapped off the same way your header bolts just did. As i said i dont have access to a welder. If i wasnt getting married in a few weeks i would just buy one but its not an option. I believe its a 8MM hex head with a 1.25 pitch... maybe 1.50. i already ordered the new sensor bolt and i have it. I was thinking maybe drilling it out in the middle and maybe running like a 6MM tap through it or a 7MM tap with the same pitch. in theory it should kinda fall apart at that point no? I cant seem to drill into it enough to get the EZ Out in there. Help.... Please
Yeah that’s a sucky situation…. The drilling and tapping method might be the best option other than welding it, I just personally hate that option. Or try to find someone else that can weld on it.
The socket didn’t work because you had a 12 point socket , It probably would of worked if u used a 6 point, shit happens to me all the time
It’s supposed to be a 12pt, I had a 6pt and it didn’t work.
