- Profit maximization (for the CFA Level 1 exam) explores the shape of the:
- average and marginal revenue (AR and MR) curves, as well as the
- average fixed, average variable, average total and marginal cost (AFC, AVC, ATC and MC) curves,
facing firms which operate under conditions of perfect and imperfect competition.
We also analyze the criteria for choosing a level of output for which profits are maximized.
This video covers concepts featured in Section 2, Learning Module 1 of the Economics section of the CFA Level 1 Curriculum
