- Hi everyone. Rather like a medically induced coma, I've decided shutting down my main GuildfordGhost account (not this one) until the first copyright strike ends in early March is going to be better for my sanity and will ensure my channel doesn't get terminated. It's the only way to make sure I don't get any more copyright strikes until the first one has expired.

Your channel is the single best channel on UA-cam. Do whatever you need to do to protect your archive, and thank you for all the wonderful content!

Don't worry - you were very wise by subbing to both channels. I have put it into hibernation again. Two copyright holders issued me strikes within a few days of each other, so I have had to put it into hibernation for the next three months until the strikes expire. Nothing's gone anywhere; it's just in an induced coma and all will be viewable as normal once the strikes have gone. If I got a third strike, I'd lose my account so it's the only thing I can sensibly do.
I'm sorry you've had such problems with youtube. I watched one of your videos the other day, from a video made in '96 I think, and about ghosts. It's now gone - or rather it shows as a 'blocked' and 'private' video. I am really sorry about that because it mentioned Castle Lodge in Ludlow and featured its owner, Bill Pearson, now deceased, whom I knew for more than twenty years. I left a comment on that video and you kindly replied to it. I wanted to reply to your comment and to watch he video again and to share it with others who knew Bill, but it is not accessible any longer. I would be delighted if you could upload it again, here or elsewhere, and perhaps send me or let me know the link if you do. Thanks and good wishes to you!

You'll noticed I (f) dropped a few comments, had not seen these for a very long time. I was fascinated by Sharon Compton's contribution, she gave a crucial insight into her friend Alison Chambers disappearance in 1979.
Sharon never ever featured in any of the other vids. I wonder if she testified
in court. Maybe return in 10 weeks....hopefully!?

Channel on self-imposed lockdown due to the nasty gent who owned copyright on the three-part Channel 5 Fred & Rose West documentary. He issued multiple strikes rather than one. If I got another strike in a three-month period, I lose my account, so I've shut the main one down until they expire in early September. The only ones I've got up are some of the most popular uploads I made myself that can't possibly get a strike. Come back in six or seven weeks and everything will be back to normal. This account here is my skeleton/duplicate.

I don't understand why these petty, selfish a&&holes strike you!! You don't charge pay-to-view, and they aren't showing these films themselves. You are not competition to them, its just utter twattery. #GuildfordGhostBestContentOnUA-cam !!!
Its broken UA-cam they are automatic. Fran from Franlabs having same issue where Canada is claiming rights to NASA footage which is illegal as NASA footage public domain. Sign up to Odysee so your channel gets automatically synced to Odysee. So you'll have a backup. There is no copyright bollocks on Odysee.
