Dang it! 🤣 My dad lost weight by writing down everything he ate with the calorie count before he ate it. Often he would decide against eating certain foods. Over time he managed to get himself off 10 prescriptions by paying attention to his eating habits. There is a lot to be said for writing it down! Love this video!
@@kathyfannon7563 wow that's awesome!
What if you're a very big fellow, and your goal weight is far lighter. Then they would essentially starve themselves in an unhealthy manner.
That is a pretty cool trick!
You know, I come from a time notebooks were all we had to write into but I never thought it’s now a “nerdy” thing. It was just natural . I’m so happy about this
Thanks!
0:44 - OMG... you're the first person I have ever seen on youtube who has (on film) put a pocket notebook, in their pocket. I've watched a lot of videos.
it only makes sense!
This is great advice - my husband uses little pocket notebooks all the time like this. He is a pastor, and uses them a lot to jot down things he wants to remember: names of people he meets, children's names of acquaintances, phone numbers, measurements for projects, all kinds of things. I just bought him some for Christmas stocking stuffers, so he's all set. Thanks for sharing!
Great ideas, thanks for sharing!

Thanks, and welcome!
That food journal part was worth the whole video
gonna try it?
@@Carsonial absolutely. I workout everyday. Biggest weakness is diet. I tried the food journaling but it wasn’t as I was eating. I like that idea better.
FYI in the video I misspoke, you multiply goal weight by 10, not 100!
Great idea! Now I can finally say goodbye to all those sticky notes.
Glad it was helpful!
I keep a separate health journal and it never dawned on me to write what I eat in my pocket journal since it’s with me throughout the day. TFS! 🤗
😎
Great info
Glad it was helpful!
This video is really helpful! In fact, I am starting a pocket journal today.
Nice!
good stuff!
Appreciate it!
You mentioned multiplying goal weight by 100. Did you really mean multiplying by 10? 175 * 100 would be 17,500 calories, where 175 *10 is 1,750. Similarly a goal weight of 200 would mean 20,000 calories vice 2,000.
Yes! So sorry if I misspoke there, you multiply goal weight by 10. Thanks!
Cool
Thanks!
