I recently mapped out where Perth used to have tramways and OH MY GOD I WANT THEM BACK. You could get so far on them, and trams are just really really cool. I think they’d be a very good middle ground between heavy rail and bus services, particularly for high-demand corridors. Cool video :)
Just a quick correction. In our video it is incorrectly stated that the Perth Electric Tramways Limited commenced operating trams on September the 29th 1899 however it was actually September the 28th of that year trams commenced operating.

Our transport minister, unfortunately, does not like trams. She is unfit for the job.
