As someone that is practicing offline with the goal to jump into ECW, these videos are supremely helpful! There's a lot of good information about ECW out there but it tends to cover the server as a whole.

I suppose the Viggen's disadvantage with its low payload of only 2 anti-ship missiles is however compensated by the fact it is very fast, and therefore much less vulnerable, compared tot the slower ground pounders. also, thanks to the standoff, it probably doesn't need to fly all the way to the ships, rather fly until release point and then head back, meaning it can spend very little time feet wet

mhmh Viggen can not have the ASM-Version of the Maverick as of now?

I'll need to look into that. Didn't think anything on ECW could but I may well be wrong. Would give the Viggen more utility if so since it's anti-ship missiles only go on 2 pylons max

The Viggen has access to 3 Mavericks, RB75A (AGM65A), RB75T (AGM65A with bigger warhead) and RB75B (AGM65B)
I don't think any of those are for anti ship use. RB75A is the "normal" one, B only has higher zoom on the scope.
On ECW only the A and B are available.

@@FlameHazeVT The RB75T is supposed to be an anti ship maverick, it has a much bigger High Explosive warhead, contrary to the normal mavs, and the default loadouts by Heatblur that use it are called anti_shipping.

Nice Video. Have you tried using the Mirage for Bombing ships? It can carry a good loadout and is also super fast an ideal for hit and run🙂 I will try it tomorrow☝️🥸

@@Dr_Jebus My first attempt to this module was not really god. It needed a second try for me after 3 month and a têtê a têtê with the A4 to getting used to it. I came from the Migs and Su's and the systems, flight model and the according tactics from this french rocket where quiet different than the russian ones. But now after a steep learning curve it is my most beloved plane in DCS😁

I find that like the F-5 you need to fly the mirage constantly for hours in an atg capacity to get the repeatable bombs on target skills that you’d need for this, but if you have those skills then the F1 would be excellent as it’s bloody fast and like the Viggan can drop its ordinance and escape. Seriously Jesus, if you like the F-5 then you’ll love the Mirage, as it’s like a faster more versatile Tiger

@@larsschroder212 My very first flight on ECW with the F1 was very positive but it went downhill hard from there.
I was so close to writing it off as a wasted purchase but after using it more and more I really started to love it. The module is so well made with audio and visual feedback on stuff.
So far I am mainly using it for A2A because I still have issues iron bombing and the rockets, while super funny having over 130 rockets, are not that strong.
