Really enjoyed seeing your helper, I made one when my kids were young, nothing as nice as yours. Mine took about an hour to build, used old balling wire to weave several slats of wood together made from an old pallet, used the heavy boards of the pallet to make a frame, a car jack for the pressure. Made about 5 gallons in two hours (including building the contraption. A heavy pillowcase for the bag to hold the smashed apples (used a relatively clean leaf shredder, hammer mill to chop the apples). It tasted great and no one died. I think the special flavor came from the worms in the apples.
Great video! Loved the train insert and the kids helping. I’m just starting to weld and we have an apple orchard that we bought last month. Thanks for the ideas!
I was looking at the other presses and thinking they are a bit weak. I look at your press and think it could win a fight against a tank. Very nicely built sir.
Congratulations Michal. That is a good press for household use and the best thing is that you have made it with the little help and assistance of your lovely child. Here in Hungary we use a grape press for pressing fruits. The hydraulic press is a good idea. Viva V4!
Hi, Great job on the press. Really like the simplicity you designed into it. Any chance you could share where you found the hydraulic components and the diameter of your stave assembly? Adorable little helper you have there. Thank You!
I built a similar press, but instead of spending days fabricating, I bought 20 ton harbor freight press for $180. Works just as well. the round plate and the wooden blocks - i did the same thing.
Hiiii, hello from Serbia 🇷🇸, awsome thing u made, I must tell that my father made same for me 20 t, with inox cilindar, and I make cold pressed wallnut oil and hazelnut oil, and beet root juice, carrot juice and much more... Generally speaking, Balkan ppl are very smart, what ever u trow us we will manage right? Good job to u and my papa😊😊❤️👍
This is very cool, unfortunately most people do not have such professional equipment in their work. It is very pleasant to look at your work! With respect from Russia.
Very nicely made. How did you decide 10 tons was the correct force for the diameter of the press? I have had a hard time finding out how hard to press the ground up apples. I have been told as a wild guess 100 psi. So for your press that would mean about a 16 inch diameter wooden cylinder to put the ground fruit in. What diameter did you use and did you max out your force to 10 tons? How did you decide which size steel frame to use?
cool project. I want to do something similar for pomegranates. Instead of spending time building a press I was thinking about buying one from Norther Tool or who ever. I also thought I wanted a 1/4" wall 16" S.S. pipe with a sieve and funnel on the bottom. turns out I will spend 2000 bucks to make zero and impress my uncles. since i don't what to spend so much on pipe, what do you think about me doing like you did out of pecan wood? Your barrel looks great by the way.
Krásná práce, všechno dotažené do detailu. Udělat z hovna bič a zapráskat :).
Beautiful design, and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your amazing video

The apple juice looked like caramel.
Where can I fund that hydraulic air pressure device (which is used to send pressure air to upper drum to press the crushed apples)

That little boy hanging out with his dad, helping out as best he can and not a video game within a 10-mile radius! God bless you both!
Great little builders mate you got there. Eager & enthusiastic 👍

Its very nice to see you are using help from an apprentice - setting the boards in place. Great video >Thanks
That was amazing. Love the train and your little one helping out. Great video.

Lovely work. I pressed apple cider with my wife's parents, they had a hand-cranked press. I bet hydraulics make it easier!
That's magnificent, I don't think I have the skill to build one like that

Nice job, It looks quite similar to to my cider press. The difference is I used a oak catch pan and a farmers jack to squeeze the the apples.

Rather have one of these than a Juicero, probably 10x cheaper too. Great job Michal
The needed tools will dominate the price.
Good afternoon, wonderful press, and apples than turn cake?
No, it turns into compost.
Bravo ,.Nice job
What material is that on 4:31, how do you weld that pipe. What type of solder is that, and can it be used for inox.
Thank you ! Beautiful design !!
Good day. Very nice and instructive video. Which used a cylinder and a jack. Please tell me more.
I found on the markret as a new parts. It's hand powered 10 ton pump and cylinder.
