The scales… they finally make sense
To clarify this for beginners like myself who are stumped at first by this, it begins in F Dorian then goes to F aeolian at the bridge only.

+Loud Color by the way... The reason it's labelled f minor is that f Dorian really is a TYPE of minor scale (b3)... Like Phrygian, harmonic minor etc... Hope that makes sense :) Happy jamming!

QuistJam I found D Minor and I have been playing to that for a good while.(love it!) I went through your entire video list front to back and back to front. UA-cam makes it too hard. You can use all the modes of the g# major scale since f minor is the relative minor of G# major.
In F minor, A-flat is more accurate than G#.
For one thing, F minor is a flat key. Four flats in both keys. It would be easier to read in A-flat major rather than G-sharp major, because A-flat has four flats, the G-sharp scale is much more complicated to read, because it has eight sharps, or six sharps and one double-sharp. You probably don't want to read in theoretical keys, unless you're adventurous enough to. In case you didn't know, Theoretical keys are any key with a double accidental.
Secondly, to make an F minor chord, You begin on F, go up a MINOR THIRD to A-flat, then a MAJOR THIRD to C. But if you're going to have a G-sharp, it will become an AUGMENTED SECOND, so then, you're going to F, going up an AUGMENTED SECOND to G-sharp, then a DIMINISHED FOURTH to C. You can't just take an F5 chord and have a G-sharp to make a minor third, because if you do, the scale will have A natural, because a note can't come two times in a scale under two different names. Therefore, you're scale with an F5 chord and a G-sharp you made will have an F major triad.

Quist I have a few Brian Moore guitars. Did u find it stiff when bending? I'm having a hand issue and suddenly they're very hard to bend. I was reading they are known to be stiff. Not slinky like others. I'm wondering if that's why my hands giving me problems from years of playing stiff guitars. I need short scale necks now.
Quist was using my guitar for this recording. My favourite guitar, I use it with a Roland GR55, not stiff at all...
