I get what you mean my bully is twice the size of a litter of 7 and he is still growing at 6 months I think that is when his personality starts coming out and I agree 12 months is more reasonable and I know next to nothing about dogs this is my first pet thanks for posting this ✌️
My dog at 10 months was 18 inches at the withers he's 2 yr now and is 20 1/2 inches at the withers so in my opinion they still grow a little after 12 months, but for all I know my dog is probably just an outlier from the litter

My male bully is 4 months old and he is 50 lbs. Dad is a standard, mother is a standard. Dad's side all bullies are standards. On mother's side we got some XL bullies. I don't know if my pup will be a standard or an XL.

It's true what you saying FACT, but you should also know what you're breeding by the dogs you select to breed. If you're breeding pockets then the parents should be pockets, if you're breeding standards the parents should be standards, XL or XXL. Unless you're breeding different Height dogs. I've been watching you bro since you 1st started your kennel, I love your dogs. I loved (Big Mac ) R.I.P, I've watched your kennel and your family grow bro. Your kennel looking real good, blessings to you & your family...
We breed at the top of the high standards and I ended up with a 20" dog. And some were shorter it was a mixed bag.

Not sure if you are gonna see this or not. Anyway I rescued what appeared to be a Pit puppy off the streets from where I was working. He had been roaming the streets for about a month and the vet said he was between 3 and 4 months old. He is about 9 or 10 months old now and all his characteristics seem to point to American Pitbull Terrier. He is not hefty at all, and has that typical head of a true APBT which has the pitbull shape but a more lean slightly longer head. So as I said he appears to be Pitbull, possible Rednose or a Blue Fawn from everything I have read and looked at picture wise. Apparently Blue Fawns have red noses and a very similar coat to what he has which is a brownish grey shiny coat with white on his chest white line down the bridge of his nose and white around his red nose. He also has some white boots, Again I could be wrong on specific breed. He is currently 32 lbs and he is a lean dog he is about 18 to 19 inches at the shoulder height. I was not sure how much more he would grow or how much weight he would put on as a Male. I guess it could be possible he might be a runt? If you have a contact email I can send you some pictures to see what you think. He has been a very good dog, gentle and kind, a bit rambunctious and has a bad habit of chewing on shoes, especially new ones.

Good stuff. My girl is around 15 months an she just now is starting to fill out! I was worried for awhile she was too little! But I just kept with my routine an stayed calm an she is looking amazing!! She is still real compact but the definition on her is crazy! An my boy is about 6 going on 7 months! An he is a beast!! He is her height but everything! Is big on him chest head an paws!! An he actually is starting to look a little lanky! Like he is stretching an looking skinny kinda! But I'm hoping that he will fill out an that this is just his lanky stage. Any info will be appreciated. I know that they have a lanky stage but at what age an for how long. My girl never really did or at least I never noticed it
One of my Micro males had this issue around months 7-9 he was looking lanky skinny and by month 11 his width really exploded and that length filled in perfectly with massive muscle stance and girth... Don't worry broski he will fill in give it a few more months

facts no doubt that's what's up 👍👍.... it's usually 10mths they stop growing in height but that was good info... by 4-5 mths I like to look at the length of the puppies feet from the ground to the bottom of their chest to see who's gonna be taller but that don't mean their going to be pocket.... nuff respect as always, bully bless ya heard 🙏😔 👊😎 your line looking good bro 👌

A puppy will be fully grown into his height by 8 months it's months and then by the time it turns one year old it will start to get wide and then when your dog turns 2 years old 3 years old it will fully grow into his head
