LOVE LOVE "the fabulous baker boys"... I consider it a modern day classic.. Love everything about it! The cast, the storyline, the music, the cinematography, etc. It's both hilarious and touching, moving and sad melancholy........
She's absolutely right about "The Fabulous Baker Boys." It's a smashing film with perfect performances.
There will never be another like Joan Collins. Force of nature
She was kind of like Bette Davis, 20 years later. They both took no shit from anyone.
Absolutely agree with Joan. One of my favorite movies of all time, I've seen it many times and will gladly watch it many more. The "Making Whoopie" scene was an instant classic. I remember seeing it in the theater when it was released, and the whole audience was completely spellbound. So great, in so many ways. To this day, Pfeiffer insists she can't really sing, but she sure learned how to put a song across. Can't say enough good things. If you haven't seen it, you really must.
Joan reminds me a lot of one of my great loves. She seems crazy but is actually pretty swift. I also agree with her. Fabulous Baker Boys is a great movie.
Loved seeing this. I had the same response to Joan, blown away by the movie! - the chemistry between the 3 leads,, 2 brothers and Michelle was terrific! The showstopping scene of Michelle on the piano was unforgettable!
One of my absolute favorites of all time!! The Michelle trifecta. The Fabulous Baker Boys, Dangerous Liaisons, and Batman Returns!
I agree 💯!
This is such a lovely interview between Joan and Percy.
One of my favourite films, and it is indeed perfect. But the piano parts were played by composer Dave Grusin and John Hammond. Impeccably well acted, but they were dubbed. Brilliant film and score.
Thanks! It would be really quite a surprise if Jeff Bridges had played it. Dave Grusin, different story
Great movie!!
She's going 90, it's unbelievable...
Good for Joan, I say
I adore this movie as well, very bitter sweet. But Michelle has great chemistry with everyone.
GODDESS!!!🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
I am completely agree with Joan
These two are so cute together ❤
Starman is a great movie
Joan is Remarkable.
Dynasty was her Best Work.
Where does it end? "How Many Million Ways to Die in LA"? "The Contender"? "Lebowski"?
With Jeff Bridges you can just go on and on. He has given us so many scintillating performances that largely go under the radar.
i guess I'll have to enjoy his work on my own. I guess there's a couple others who've heard of "Lebowski", but come on!
Let Joan talk mister, we don’t wanna listen to u
That's percy her husband I think
@@jamesjameson4566 yes it is Percy
SU.
I count agree more with Mrs Collins
Susie has Jack right from the beginning only he doesn't know or see it. It's that animal attraction, but it's also that she has that same sort of flippancy that he has and it draws him to her. The difference is that hers isn't hard and cold like his and he can't figure it out but he wants to. Hers is an attitude; his is a way of life.
I don't agree. When Suzy sees him playing jazz, she's a bit shocked. They both have instant attraction but it was then that she realized that they both have sold themselves short.
