- Hello everyone! I am sharing 5 DIY ornaments you can try to recreate for your Christmas tree! I did a mercury glass ornament, macrame ornament, paper mache ornament, cement ornament, and a white ceramic ornament. They are super easy and also very budget friendly. Like a bag of potato chips...you can't stop at or choose just one! 🤭I really appreciated the mercury glass tutorial. Minimal steps (skilled steps) but the payout was off the charts spot on. NEW SUBBIE HERE ON THAT ONE BRILLIANT TUTORIAL.😘 Thankyou Evelyn!
Tip for those wanting to recreate: Dollar and a quarter Tree has plastic clear in multiple sizes and even flat/oval shapes. ($1.25). If your store is already sold out, they are currently running a flat rate shipping of $5.99. Often only 6 count is required to purchase online. If you live in a city with a store, just ship it there and pickup for free avoiding the shipping fee.
The cement version and the one with baking soda. I like to transform vessels with the paint and baking soda methods. Super excited to try doing that with ornaments!

If you spray black paint in the looking glass ornaments they will really look like mercury glass. This will make it more opaque.

Do you spray the black in after he looking glass spray?
yes when they are dry you mist it in. I use it on old windows, spray the glass and when it's dry i spray black paint, you could brush on black paint also@@denisef3228

You did this a year ago & 2023 the one with baking soda is like the viral ornaments this kinda like Velvet look on it. Kinda like similar. I saw some other youtuber did it with color paint add baking soda in it as well. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤ Love this idea. I got lots of ornaments that went out of style or not the color we want anymore. Something like this is a very very convenient idea 💡

First and last were my favourite 🤩 a little tip, in stead of using a paint brush, you can use a normal kitchen spunge, cut it in squares and dap the paint on 😉 thank you for wonderfull inspiration
I love that idea!! That would give it a lot more texture, I did some more diy ornaments and started crumpling up some napkins and dabbing the paint on like that as well and it looked very nice! Thank you for sharing 🥰
I think I’d want to spray the silver and gold caps matte black…to make them a bit more high end looking. Just a thought. ❤️ Sweet ideas. Nice channel.

I like all Of them , last year I made inside pouring with my grandkids they all choose what ever colour of acrylic pain they want and they put it inside and the older ones someone’s there pouring outside they put the pain slowly on a tequila shot recycle cup and they put on top of the ornament ball to another balls we pul Styrofoam that I use the cheese grain to make small and lots of Feathers and another ones with white glue and bath salts . Excuse my poor English. Your last balls I will use as you as table ornament! 😊❤

Thanks for sharing this! If you want to get rid of the hot glue strings on the macreme ornie, use your heat gun for a few seconds over the entire thing and they disappear!

I think the first was my favorite. I loved the macramé one but it seems so time consuming and I would burn the heck out of my fingers before getting one ornament done. But they were all gorgeous!
