Sir some books say its C7 to T1 while others say its C6 to C8. So there is some difference among ideas. So we have written C6 to C8 because most of the books + google say that. We really appreciate your point of view.
You need to concentrate on the wordings of the names of these muscles and relate these wordings with the location and function of these muscles. For example, if we look at Extensor Carpi ulnaris muscle, this muscle is an extensor so the word Extensor, it extends the wrist, so the word carpi is for the wrist joint, and it mainly inserts onto the ulnar or medial aspect of hand so the word Ulnar. Hence the name extensor carpi ulnaris.
We have explained the blood supply of all muscles of anterior compartment of forearm in our recent tutorial on the topic "Muscles of Anterior Compartment of Forearm". Kindly go through that tutorial for complete bloody supply of anterior forearm.
