Hi Josie, I wanted to tell you how lovely it is for me to pop in and watch you in your charming part of England. It’s a total escape to me just like watching the other people I follow on YT. That includes a Swiss shepherdess, a lady living in remote Sweden, a woman on Svalbard. A woman who lives in Texas who does major construction projects by herself, a guy who hikes the four corners of the American desert, a couple who travel and sleep in a new bed on average every 2 days while doing incredible challenges physically. I mostly watch gardeners because that’s my thing. But I gain something from every one of you. Will I ever eat, dress , or exercise like you? Not likely. But gosh! I love who you are and I thank God we are all unique. Don’t ever let people ruin your spirit. People can be so rude. But you are precious!! ❤❤

Hi Josie, my husband and i had the pleasure of staying at Blockley in the Cotswolds a month ago. We live in Australia and as part of our month holiday we stayed at The Crown Hotel, what a lovely place to visit, everyone was friendly the hotel was great with friendly staff, loved the area.

Hey Josie! Just a heads-up about the Whind company.. I ordered the sample pack of perfumes, and only one would barely spray. I contacted the company, and explained what was happening. There was some back and forth messages between us, and they agreed to send a new sample box. I just received the "replacement" of a box full of nothing. Literally all wrapped up empty box with a receipt!
I'm confused, but mostly disappointed that they're THAT kind of company. Shady.

Beautiful vlog Josie thank you. If you ever visit Cornwall please take a look at The Story of Emily and her home that has been lovingly restored by the same guy that owns the Newt in Somerset. It is set in beautiful grounds with a restaurant that serves lovely food, the building is made up of stone and glass and looks beautiful. You can also try on clothes from that era in the top room and take some photos. Worth a visit as is Cornwall itself. ❤

So interesting to see you cook with aivar, it's a condiment very popular here in the ex-Yugoslavia countries (we spell it “ajvar”, pronounced like “eye-var”). You called it peppers and tomatoes but traditionally it’s made from red peppers and aubergines. 🙂

I think you're missing a trick not wearing burgundy in Summer it goes great with many greens especially khaki, cream, tan, it's probably the material that's making you feel it's unseasonal. Maybe you should have your colours done it can be quite revealing. I remember you saying you don't wear dark colours but chocolate really suits you and dark green. x
Drinking vinegar is called a shrub here in the US. So yum and easy to make yourself! You can use whatever fruit or veg you want. Try it out :)

my alliums are completly brown, no color anymore due to the heavy rainfalls here. do I just cut them off or let the winter take care of them. I was hoping maybe the flower bulbs would create new ones next year
You can cut them if you don’t like how they look, but good to let the greenery die back naturally!
