I think you are missing or leaving out the connection words that connect one following phrase to the previous phrase.
Verse 17-18 says the law is here to stay.
The opening of v19 is "Therefore." This means 17 and 18 are connected to 19 in their thought context.
So because the law and prophets are not going away (17,18) you can not break them or tell other to.(19)
    It is really that simple.
I do agree that because of grace through faith He imputs His righteousness to true believers, just as it has always been, see Abraham and Habakkuk 2.

The heaven and the earth is not talking about physical...it is talking symbolically of the temple. The old temple had to be destroyed by Christ's death for us to have a new temple....with Christ. We died with Christ. The old man had to put away for the new man to come forth. I hope I make sense to others. Grace & Peace

Jesus was speaking to his Jewish followers before the resurrection and they were all under the law still. And until heaven and earth pass away, all the things Jesus was supposed to fulfill still had to be fulfilled, and if they were not fulfilled in his day, then heaven and earth would sooner pass away before anything would change about the law.
But Jesus did go on to fulfill everything written about him in the law and the prophets! He finished it. He completed it. He fulfilled it.

By raising those questions it shows where your heart is. To enter heaven you must be perfect, Jesus is the representative of humanity. Once we believe we are saved. No saved person will ever want to commit those things because we know how terrible they are to our lives.
You see, you may keep the law externally, but in our hearts we are full of sin….we need a savior to enter….
If a person sees grace as a license to sin, it means they were never beaten and scared to death by the law. Usually means the believe they are able to keep. Which is deceit of the the worst kind. They will not appreciate grace at all and belittle what Jesus actually came to do.
This is where the word repent comes in. Repent = change your way thinking.
Either we obey it all perfectly or we it’s hell bound. No middle ground.
Jesus fulfills it in our behalf by obeying it all perfectly. In Christ we fulfill the law. We are free to live for God now, in peace and rest.

Idea is that in messianic ge G-d will finally have culmination of his torah_instructions. Whole world will know G-d is real, torah is rel and all 613 laws will be observed then properly as he always planned
Tht is even why a king like in days of old like David, israel and 3rd temple are promised for this time. Because all of those have laws attached to them and are needed for 613 laws to be observed

Yes, but which law? The law of Moses or the law of Christ? The answer is that Christians are not lawless. They have a law. And that law forms the new covenant. They're not under the old covenant made of the old covenant's laws. They're under the new covenant made of the new covenant's laws. The law of Christ.

The law will not be abolished until all is accomplished. It is accomplished for believers because we trust Jesus fulfilled. Not for unbelievers. Why? Because how will sinners know they are sinners without the law? Yeah their conscience bears witness, but it’s not enough. The law is for unbelievers. For believers they’re fulfilled in Christ. Yeshua is actually very clear to understand. Yeshua didn’t teach lawlessness. He simply didn’t agree with the Pharisees that law keeping saved anyone. It never could save anyone. Old Testament or New Testament… people are saved the same way… by Gods grace and Gods faith! He is faithful to all His promises.
It is Paul who is widely misunderstood. Paul was a genius who imitated Yeshua! He also didn’t teach lawlessness. Peter says that in those days Paul was being misunderstood and that the unstable and unlearned (the gentiles) were becoming lawless.
If you reject the commandments of God it’s because you’ve been taught by men that misunderstand the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament doesn’t predict a lawless messiah or movement. The New Testament doesn’t teach us to reject the commandments of God.
      Shalom!

@@essenceofgrowing7804you are not under the old covenant and the old laws that are part of that covenant, you are part of the new covenant and the new laws that are part of that covenant, you are under the law of Christ, not the law of Moses. It couldn't be any simpler than that.
Christians are not lawless, the question just comes down to which law they are under. And the answer is that they are definitely under a set of laws, and those set of laws were given by Jesus. Before his resurrection he was teaching his Jewish followers to follow the laws of Moses, and that is absolutely correct and right.
But after his resurrection all authority and heaven and on earth was given to him, and he completed and fulfilled everything that was written about him in the law and the prophets, all of which was pointing to him and was fulfilled in him.
If you wish to be under the law of Moses, as Paul says, you have fallen from grace, and you better go out and get yourself circumcised if you aren't already circumcised, and you better start following all 613 laws of Moses which even Peter says was a burden to heavy to bear. And yet Jesus says his yoke is light and his burden is light.
Do you really think that he would say that his burden is light when he's just telling you to go and do everything Moses commanded? There isn't a person on the planet who would say that the entirety of the laws of Moses are a light burden. The only argument they would offer is that somehow you are given magical power to fulfill all of those laws and so therefore it becomes an easier burden, but that's nonsense and irrational. It's justification of their belief.

The Crucifixion took place not to replace The Law, but to Enhance our ability to stick with it through Grace. Grace is our advocate when we inevitably fail to keep one of The Laws. Grace is what prevents us from condemning ourselves when we slip and fail to keep one of The Laws. Grace alleviates us from having to be perfect. But It does not alleviate us from still having to TRY to do The Law. So no, The Law is NOT done away with. But the need to be perfect is. i don’t understand why this is so hard for people, especially “christians”, to understand. just because we have The Blood of The Lamb as an ADVOCATE, does not mean that it is a licence to transgress The Law. His Blood was NOT a replacement of The Law, but rather the ADVOCATE we call upon when we make an honest mistake. He is our Mediator and our Intercessor. But HE is NOT going to Make Intercession for someone who isn’t even TRYING to keep The Law. Keyword, TRY. Our Father Yah does not Ask that we be perfect, but that we put forth our honest effort. YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH is The Law manifested in the flesh, and Grace manifested in The Spirit. Grace is His Essence and The Law is His Substance. And no one intermarries these two interdependent elements better or more Beautifully than Yahusha HaMashiach. His Life is literally Him keeping The Law to a tee while exhibiting the utmost Grace and Humility as people try to stone Him to death and crucify Him. “christians” need to stop acting like we have to choose between Grace and The Law. by doing so, they are no better than the Pharisees who only wanted The Law, but rejected Grace and Intimacy with Yahusha HaMashiach. “christians” on the other hand, are the other extreme, which is someone who wants the Intimacy without the genuine effort of keeping The Law that is supposed to be written in their hearts. CHRIST did NOT come to enhance our ability to fulfill the law through grace.
Everything in your reply is not biblical but only your religious mind.
Even after being born again, you will not be able to fulfill the Law. The law is for unbelievers to bring them to Christ. Once in Christ we don’t need a list of dos and donts. We are now mature people not children anymore.
“Christ is the end of the law for righteousness. “
The law is a ministry of condemnation. You will fail it daily, and only bring guilt and shame. If you may say you are keeping it just fine, but you are not. So if you live by it you will need to live by the entire law. It’s all or nothing. You’d be daily in a state of condemnation…you may not be because you’re only following the ones you believe you are keeping. In this case we’d need a talk with Jesus to elevate it, so that it completely KILLS

I pray for the Holy Spirit to give you clarity about the meaning of the sermon mount. This is not Jesus against the Ten Commandments. He clearly says this and emphasizes the validity of Old Testament prophets.
It is however, Jesus warning us not to lower the standard of Gods moral law. This is Jesus revealing the heart the of the law. He is comparing Gods laws against the laws of the PHARISEES. who represent a lower standard; a secular view having no love for God.
    Jesus upheld every commandment.
You read right over “till heaven and earth pass” not one of the commandments will be changed. The moral laws have been in existence since creation and God declares that he is unchanging.
Jesus did away with the Jewish secular laws but never abandoned God moral code.
Friends practice and teach the commandments to honor and show our love for God. “Walk the narrow path and enter the straight gate” Others will take notice and be attracted to the light of the salvation message we are all called to share.

and remember when Yeshua was asked what were the two greatest commandments
matthew 22:37-40 And Yeshua said to them you shall love YAH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind this is the first and great commandment and the second is like to it you shall love your neighbour as yourself on these two commandments HANG ALL THE LAWS AND THE PROPHETS. so if we keep all the commandments we follow the two greatest commandments. and as well didnt Jesus say in john 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you He that believes on me the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because I go to my Father. And what kind of works did the messiah do ?
the law of Moses. And in regards to " God nailed it on the cross" when he died the only thing he fulfilled was the forgiveness of sin as it is written in Matthew 26:26-28
And as they were eating Yeshua took bread and blessed it and brake it, and gave it to the disciples and said, Take eat this is my body.
And he took the cup and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying Drink ye all of it
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for THE REMISSIONS OF SINS ( not doing away or as you say completion of the law ).if we look at Luke 24 when the two travellers are walking to Emmaus it is written in
    Luke 24:25-27
Then he said to them O fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures the THINGS CONCERNING HIMSELF ( not referring to the law but according to the ultimate atonement talked about in Isaiah 53 for he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we were healed ) And as a side note if Yeshua came to fulfill all prophecies concerning himself where in the old testament does it say the law will be changed or done away with ? Instead Isaiah said that the law will be expanded
In chapter 42:21 For Yah is well pleased for his righteousness sake he will MAGNIFY the law and make it honourable. Ezekiel says in Ezekiel 36:26-27 A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you an heart of flesh and cause you to walk in my statutes and keep my judgments and do them. So let me ask you did Yeshua really do away with the law ?

Under the new: I will remember your sins no more.

Under the old: Honor your parents and you have long life.
Under the new: We are children of the Most High and have everlasting life.

Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." he didnt say atleast until im crucified and resurrected . jesus completed the law/fulfilled because it was incomplete, the new covenant was to write torah/the law in us , so we would want to obey it, so that contradicts the notion that the law is done away ,ended or stopped because if it had been then why write it in us? . basically you either get it or you dont, and as isaiah said "to the law and the testimony if they speak not according to this word there is no light in them. i think that says it all.

How do you explain Galatians 6:15 where Paul says physical circumcision is not necessary. "Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation."
Or Acts 10:15 where Peter is presented with unclean animals that God now made clean, and instead of obeying God and eating, Peter denies God 3 times and only considers gentiles to be clean, not all animals as God has told him?

He came to break the law and subtract ftom the law.
This is not a full list either.
    1. He violated the shabbat as recorded in Matthew 12, Luke 13, 14 mark 2
    2. He denied and mocked the dietary laws of the torah Matthew 15 marl 7
    3. He violated and mocked the need for ritual washing of the hands Matthew 15, Mark 7, Luke 11
    4. He ignored the practice and laws of obeying fasts (and before you try say these are rabbinic jesus himself told us to obey such authority and if you dont like that then those fast days are ratified by the prophet zecharia 7:5 & zecharia 8:19) Matthew 6 mark 2, Luke 6
    5. He opposed and mocked communal prayers Matthew 6
Denied the biblical permission to divorce Matthew 5, 19
Not cool either and should of added about trying to stand above the law, trying to say he is L-rd of the shabbat, not cool to forgive sins committed against G-d and continually utter blasphemy. This is very far from the messiah we are promised in isaiah 11.2 who fears the L-rd
Just to put the nail in the coffin Deuteronomy 4:2 do not add to the word that I command you and do not subtract from it
Deuteronomy 13:1 do not add to it and do not subtract from it which is followed by warnings of false prophets that would lead israel astray and tells us specifically even if they do signs and wonders
Deuteronomy 17:9-12 and you shall come to the Levitic cohanim and to the judge who will be in those days, and yoy shall enquire, and they will tell you the words of judgement. And you shall do according to the word they tell you, from the place the L-rd will choose, and you shall observe to do according to all they instruct you. According to the law they instruct you and according to the judgement they say to you, you shall do; you shall not divert from the word they tell you, either right or left. And the man who acts intentionally, not obeying the cohen who stands rhere to serve the L-rd, your G-d, or to the judge THAT MAN SHALL DIE, and you shall abolish all evil from Israel."
Of course in some parts of the Nt the above following them and their ruling jesus demands of his followers. Can't make up his mind nd follow his own words.
We see a picture of man who is a transgressor and denier of G-d's laws.
And you know what he sinned so much and broke so many laws you can have more than 5 direct.
    6. Violated and mocked precept of honouring one's father and mother Matthew 8, 12, 23 Luke 14
    7. He violated the biblical prohibition against carrying a grudge and seeking revenge yourself by cursing, threatening and planning revenge against those who would not believe in him and follow him Matthew 7, 10 Luke 19, 1 Corinthians 16
    8. On the one hand he pretended to strengthen and affirm the rabbinic ordinances of the pharisees Matthew 5 Luke 23 and then turned around and warned his followers to beware the teachings of the pharisees Matthew 16
    9. He denied the biblical permission to divorce Matthew 5, 19
Now you have 9 plus some I just wrote about but didn't number, categorise and reference on top
And what is worse is that there are more instances than this of him breaking the law
And what is worse is I get this from the christian bible, NT
Don't forget us orthodox jews are the pharisees. Not like them, but same people, same religion and laws. We just use the term orthodox Jews today. Christians try tell us the one liner jesus is claimed to of said he didn't come to a abolish the law. We spit out the food we are chewing on when we hear that.
Jesus of the Nt was a false prophet. All the Nt opposes the teachings of the prophets. The pharisees(orthodox Jews) had the truth then just as we do now. Moshiach will come and all the world will know that. Ex christians at that time won't even want to admit they used to be christian.
