Watched the erebus operation documentary........this song is hauntingly beautiful❤🙏🏼 stunning xx Rip to those lost & such respect to the recovery team ❤🙏🏼
Wow ! What a beautiful voice! Like a lot of the other folks on here, I heard this song on the documentary and had to find out who was singing this song! It’s just lovely! Keep singing Tiny! You have an incredible talent!
*Hollie (Fulbrook). Tiny Ruins is the name of the act. (Granted it’s just her here but it’s variously a duo/quartet).
Absolutely haunting and a balm at the same time, in the context of ANZ flight 901 which crashed in Antarctica on 28 November 1979 with the loss of 257 souls. So much controversy and dissonance surrounding that event. It persists to this day in 2021. This song at the end of the Documentary, "𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒅𝒖𝒆" was needed.

stunning
Here after watching the documentary. Such a beautiful song
This song over and over, has poetically sang to my soul and journey, and even still i come and listen here and there and it is still just as beautiful
I wonder if I can go back that place and meet them again.
If you like this one 'Night Owl' and 'She was as old as the hills" have the same bitter-sweet melancholy
My granddaughter insist this play on repeat at night to help her fall asleep.
8 years later and I still love this song. Learned to play it from this video, and play it frequently. Haunting and beautiful.
Speechless.
Erebus Operation Documentary bought me here too. I had to know the chords and the lyrics...but more intrigingly...who was Tiny Ruins. I appreciate your music...not many I do these days...so Thank you.

As below, The Erebus Documentary brought me here too ~ such a sad, sad episode - this Song, a perfect pick for playing at the end of the Documentary .
Stunning song, stunning Guitar, stunning Voice .. !
Thank you for your music. Had this on repeat for 30 mins and I am still speechless....
Something about that girl's voice is so moving.
An impressing documentation and a wonderful and touching song....
This is the voice of someone who knows kindness is the deepest thing inside, matched only by sorrow as the other deepest thing inside.
One year later I still love her voice.
outstanding ! How could 7 people possibly dislike this ??
Seriously though! Maybe it's accidental because I have accidentally hit the dislike button on quite a few videos because I have my thumb hovering too near that button on the screen. I usually catch it and un-dislike them, but maybe those 7 people didn't realize they did it. I refuse to believe anyone disliked this on purpose!
captivating voice... nice song to carm the soul

Very appropriate in mood and words for the documentary, and a wonderful chance to showcase this singer. Reminds me a bit of early 70s music (my era).

Me TOO WOW PHENOMENAL

Erebus Documentary bought me here too.
Heartfelt. Can someone educate an old man about the documentary?
28 November 1979, a passenger plane crashed into Mount Erebus in Antarctica killing all on board. There was a lot of public and political pressure to mount a recovery operation I don't think anyone really considered what they were asking, the recovery of 257 bodies from a mountain in Antarctica one of the harshest environments on earth. This documentary is about the recovery of the dead and the crash investigation. Its excellent but has some hard going, difficult moments due to the nature of the subject matter.
Superbly explained. Thank you Sir
I love her 💜
There it was
A fallen bird in the thyme
Its time had come
And then the sage
He gave his wise reply
And I looked down
And on the twelfth night
The fool came
With his song, and his smile
And on the twelfth night
The fool came
With his song, and his smile
And we rose merrily forward
And we rose merrily down
And we rose merrily forward
And we rose merrily down
There it was
A fallen bird in the thyme
Its time had come
And then the sage
He gave his wise reply
And I looked down
And we rose merrily forward
And we rose merrily down
And we rose merrily forward
And we rose merrily down
Thank you for posting the lyrics to follow along.
I want this song played at my funeral
you won't hear it!! better to listen to it while you are alive!!
Ah the sage ________________________. Ah the fool _________________________.
Just found this googling the lyrics from the NZ Air Disaster documentary.
She always sounds so sad she's just about to die
I was in 1987 in New Zealand..., wat will say, i i have not remember off thies Accents ..., no, i was 22 years old and i have only Standards....!!! Wen my English not the best is.... now, it is Reality....!!!
So, this flight accident in 1979 hat´s my remember is, that´s are my ...., my remember are ba the "Opfer!"!!!
who the hell is disliking this?
Total babe
God, is that you?
Great song but why does everyone sing like that these days
Sounds like Kermit the Frog on anti-depressents. Who ever said swallowing your words as you sing was a way to convery emotion?
