I’ve seen basicaly everything in film history, back to the silent movie days, and the scene of the rocket launch in Succession S1 with Kieran Caulkin is still one of the greatest minute of acting I’ve ever seen.

This film is feels like a Zone of Interest inside the Zone of Interest for the benefit of the greater Zone of Interest that is the media-managed Western bubble. And as hugely likeable as the Culkin/Eisenberg duo is, after spending18 months with my heart in my mouth over the devastation and butchery in the Palestinian territories I just could not get over the cruel irony of yet another visit of remembrance against the backdrop of total silence for the violence happening in real time. The film and performance are excellent but I would have chosen another project.
