Grebe Parenting Part 1: The Nest that Never Gives Up" - Ecological Record

The first grebe to lay eggs in Inokashira Park, Tokyo, faced a series of challenges. Despite successfully building a nest, mating, laying eggs, and incubating them, the nest was washed away along with the eggs just before hatching. The month-long efforts of the parent birds went in vain. However, the pair quickly began building a new nest in another location and successfully raised three chicks.

生きものたちの子育て、そのほとんどが見ていてどれも微笑ましいものばかり。特に夫婦協力して子育てする鳥類たち。カイツブリの子育ては、都会の公園にいながら、子育ての一部始終隠さずに見せてくれるので、とても愛着がわきますね。コメントありがとうございます。
