another option i have done when I don't have syrup, but i have jelly (usually peach/mixed berry) is just simply heat it on low and add a bit of water at a time to thin it out.
Noel this series you are doing now is so needed on utube right now. Groceries are outrageous and we need your suggestions and ideas on this food plan. Pease continue it.
It’s just hard to cook for one person. One thing I’ve started doing since my husband passed away is using the slow cooker, mini rice cooker and other dash gadgets. I had a LARGE slow cooker but i hardly ever used it because i found it hard to cook small portions in it. So i got a 2/3 qrt slow cooker which is enough for 2 or 3 meals depending on what it is. I like to get frozen chicken breast and throw 1-3 in the slow cooker take out one shredded it up add bbq sauce and you have one or 2 meals of bbq chicken. You can make chicken noodle soup our of one or chicken vegetable soup out of one. One time i didnt have any pasta but wanted some chicken noodle soup i had some chicken ramen so i boiled a chicken breast in the slow cooker, added the chicken powder from the ramen, some frozen peas, carrots and corn shredded the chicken, then i took the ramen noodles and broke the square in half and ended up with 2 meals. A small slow cooker or rice cooker would be great for ppl with little time
@@cdnbuddy5798 inened up having to throw it away I was looking crockpot bbq and the sauce burnt ... I had a liner in he crock and some how a hole got int the bottom of the liner and burt the bbq sauce in the slow cooker and I was s t able to get it out.
I love to watch the different meals other women prepare. And the different foods they use. I eat only organic and it is very expensive. To get foods with no toxins and GMO’s it is unfortunately the only way. But with your big family and the wonderful different meals you had were very, very nice. I will surely incorporate these ideas , only with organic foods. I enjoyed your video and I just subscribed. Thank you very much for this well planned out video.
I worked so much when my now Adult children were growing up but they ate the best food and wholesome food - as a single Mom- now my grands I’m more cognizant of the organic foods
Some very excellent, practical and easy to do tips. Often it is the simplest things that we just never thought of before - like dividing up the bag of cookies. Great stuff!
Our house recently burned and most of our kitchen stuff is gone. Thank you for this video. It was a time saver for me and gives me a plan I can execute at a time that I don’t have a lot of time or money.
I often buy things for my grown children because I want my grandbabies to eat well and things are so high - also I cook huge amounts to send stuff home with them
We call bacon grease Liquid Gold at our house. Great frugal options. I do enjoy the longer videos. I take you into my kitchen, prep dinner, do dishes and my how the time flies when I’m having fun. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
EXCELLENT video, Noel! You’re right - everything is so expensive, even vegetables! We ALL feel the higher prices and we can identify with you! Thank you so much for sharing recipes because I know I’m gonna try these!!!!
My granddaughter just showed me how to soak blended or instant oats overnight to make oat milk that can be used In baking It has been a great budget stretcher
I am happy to watch your videos regardless of how long or short they are!!! Thank you for being so honest, raw & allowing us into a bit of your private struggles in your past. I think it helps a lot of people to know & understand that we/ they are not alone in their struggles. 🎊💕🎊💕
I like the long video's. I appreciate the help on stretching out my food budget. Food prices have skyrocket so much and im struggling on between paying bill or eating. Thank you for all your help
You can make corn bread also to use as a filler, its cheap to make homade. When my kids were growing up we had a strict budget to being a single parent. I had to get inventive. Take care, and blessings to all.
I watched from beginning to end and enjoyed it, thank you for sharing all of your ideas, it is helpful for everyone I think so that we learn to spread our cash a little further.
I am enjoying your video. I will be using some of your ideas. I am a retired single person. I love to cook and eat good food. Continue making your videos. Thank you !
Show how to make cream of chicken if you need to simple and good . love the potato green bean bake and we love cornbread with it . such good dinners you have done a wonderful job.
Hi! Just found your channel. Love it! I’m 63 and never learned to cook. Can u believe it? I was never interested so I ate processed food and/or I ate out. I can’t afford to do this anymore nor do I want to do it. So, I’m going to try to learn to cook. It will be easier to control the budget (I’m on disability). It sounds like you make easy meals for beginning cooks (even old ones. lol!) and you’re budget conscious. Can’t wait to learn from you. Thank you!
I like these long videos and love how your doing these meal plans. These videos are great for your kids to watch at college. I'm a new subscriber as your video came across my feed. Glad it did.
I've watched you for years, clear back to the other channel. this is a great video, you made different food, that the common person would like. Great job!! Tyfs, God Bless! PS...how's your momma and Ronnie doing
Really enjoyed this video...didn't mind the length, but if it is easier for you to divide it into smaller segments, that is fine too...that way we can see a video from you more often ! Either way is fine. Food looked good. I love pizza and my mouth was watering when you showed the finished product. Thanks for sharing all these great money saving tips and serving really good food to boot!!
Another good bfast is the chorizo with potatoes n eggs. Like a hash and put in tortilla..Or a chicken "burrito" type bowl with rice the refried beans or pinto beans shred some chicken add corn top with salsa or whatever sauce you want and of course cheese..its really a choose your own adventure type of meal😊Haha i left comment b4 i watched whole video
It's better to use frozen pack of veges in the fried rice so they still have some firmness rather than canned ones that are soggy. A fried egg on top of the fried rice serving adds more protein and if you grow scallions in your garden or keep chopped up in your freezer, both additions make is more Asian authentic and tasty.
Wow nice prices, New Zealand prices on a few things are $10 for one dozen eggs, bacon $15 to $20, lettuce $3.50, cheese slices $5, muffin mix $6 think that’s about the $80
With the exchange rate: $10 in US is exactly equal to $16.80 in New Zealand so your $10 eggs are $5.95 US Dollars. $47.59 US Dollars is exactly equal to your $80. 😊❣️

Hi Noel was thinking about you today and here you are 🎉 thank you ! Do the videos the way that’s best for you , I know you are busy ! Hope to see you soon! 🌸🦋🌸
I enjoyed watching this video. It's very helpful to those just starting out on the budgeting and frugal cooking path. Is there somewhere that you post your list of ingredients and the recipes?
Easy way to use potatoes is making baked potatoes. I made that last night with a salad for me and sandwich for hubby. Also I get most of my can vegetables from Aldi's. Do y'all have any around you?
We do have a Aldi by us 😊 I will start doing other stores soon. I was sticking To Walmart for the first few budget videos because I think a lot of people can get to a Walmart
My first time watching you and I did subscribe. Fantastic ideas! Im a little concerned over the amount of processed meats. I'm wondering if I could sub some chicken thighs or ground chicken/turkey (whatevers on sale) in some of the weiner or smokie dishes?
After you pull the chicken off the bones, put the skin and bones in a pan of water and boil them for at least 30 minutes or longer. It makes chicken bone broth to use for soup.
another option i have done when I don't have syrup, but i have jelly (usually peach/mixed berry) is just simply heat it on low and add a bit of water at a time to thin it out.

I love ramen with some shredded cheese and a cut up boiled egg added on top after the noodles are cooked and flavor packet is added💗

For your lg slow cooker you can make bread it, many recipes on you tube!
1cup flour, 2 eggs salt...mix into dough.
Roll 1/4" and slice into noodles. Cheap, ez pasta. 😊
