Alex rome so goated. I've been doing his 1 on 1 coaching mentorship and let me tell you... he's helped me create a whole new sound unique to me.. THANK YOU ALEX!!! I love working with you
just add unison to a saw wave, turn down the detune, and send a plucky envelope to the filter. done. (oh you'll need a lil delay and reverb) trust me that's it!
Absolute quality tutotial. It's short, it's minimalistic yet detailed and the sounds aswell as the composition is just pure emotion. Thank you for your service
Wow! This is incredible. Seriously, I have playlists dedicated to music production and this is top 5 over all the years. Kudos to you brother. Thank you!
3:55 - For what it's worth, he literally says "I'm going to copy the rhythm from my favorite song right now, it's called Sleepless" and shows the album art for it.
It's so wholesome how excited Alex gets when listening to what he just added. It's just some simple serum soundwaves put together yet it actually moves me to tears when I hear it. Beautiful work.
Hey just wanted to say about 5 months ago I downloaded FL studio. About 2 months ago I began watching your videos many of them multiple times(the music theory one I've watched probably 5 times through its very helpful for foundational knowledge). Over the last month I started working on a new track using the strategy you show in this video and it is without question the best overall sounding thing i have made.
just found this channel. You are by far the best producer I have ever came across ever. Absolutely gifted in this field. I pray one day I can make music like you, amazing work
@@TraxtasyMediathere are a lot of artists like that, but deadmau5 is most famous out of them all... What I mean to say is, he's not showing how deadmau5 songs work... He's showing how classic EDM house music works :)
@@whitelikeasnowfall kind of, but deadmau5 up to this day likes to implement an analog flavor to his tunes and the way these synths are build up is also the way deadmau5 makes his sounds most of the time. Name one artist that has the exact same synthsounds like deadmau5. I don't want to start an argument whether this reflects EDM or deadmau5 specifically but, this was the first thing popping into my mind and yes every artist uses synths like Serum. And I found no one to a certain extent that sounds like this.
@@TraxtasyMedia it's hard to find exact same sounds from other artists... Because everyone has their unique style... I love this genre of music and know a lot of songs which have this style, and from your composition can be seen your skills and experience. Great job and thank you!
Who cares about the DAW? THE OUTCOME counts, DAWS are for creating music and sound but not what outcome is the result. The end-user is mostly not interested in what DAW someone used during production. The result counts.
Honestly i tried so many mentors and producers but no one never was as good as you as a teacher. The shortest videos from all but yet the most teachful. Thank you 🫶🏽
Your skills combined with your passion make you one helluva good teacher Maestro. Your songs all do have a bit of an airy, melodic sound to them which is cool but not necessarily gonna get the dancefloor jumping at 3am. Would be interesting to see you create something a little dirtier. Some filthy techy Kyle Watson kinda style.
9:52 I didn't like the final result but the drums bro, they are awesome, what a rhythm I love it, I might take some inspiration from that, I wish you went over them a bit more in details :)
haha no way, as soon as you played the first chord I thought I recognised it & then played sleepless to see if it matched... then u said it was ur fav song 😂
Hey man. Love your videos, you should do a video recreating daft punk. Maybe veridis quo or anything you can create that sounds similar to daft punks style outside the sampling style. I’d really appreciate that ❤
Surely the "simplest stategy" is go to splice, pick a genre, pick a key and combine a drum loop , bass loop, chord stab and vocal in the same key? done!
Knowing and using many DAWS as a person who is into mixing and mastering make things much easier for clients, so they can send in their projects without having them to switch the DAW or just exporting WAV files

Sure you'll get a discount for that comment lol.
Big up
Brooooo! That first synth sound and the pluck is 1000000000% Deadmau5

I wouldn't mind having a link for that too ✌️
sounds so much like: sleepless - avaion, when the melody hits. Which is amazing and has an amazing feel. Great work, you are very inspiring

nice to see more of the song being made.
Thanks for making these videos look so easy, always inspires me to make my own music.
Dope video man. Very helpful. Especially liked the part where you added the atmospheric layers to the low energy section at the start 😊
interesting video, i switched programs ...so since i have to relearn functionality , your video gave me some direction.
you can shift + up/down arrow instead of dragging the notes to instantly move them up/down in the MIDI (in ableton)

From a conpositional background, a root n third, or 3rd and fifth have tonal characteristic of a chord. They are an interval, too.
Very straightforward instructions, thank you

Heard it immediately, your song sounds like "AVAION, Nu Aspect - Sleepless" :D
yup! I actually made this by remaking sleepless first. I love the drums and melody. Then I just re-arranged the melody into something different.
