Got one like it with a dual clutch (USA). I use it mostly for traveling long distance. Last year, I installed an electronic cruise control, and that made a huge difference. Its a little top-heavy but otherwise, a great bike.
Was the cruise control cheap to buy/install? CC should be on most bikes really. Perfect for longer rides. I miss it on my T7. Thanks for watching and for making a comment
@@Darkvisor I did a thorough research to find the ideal CC for this bike. Came up with a brand from Australia called "MC Cruise". Paid about $650 for everything, and it works like a charm. Absolutely appreciated when driving long distance! Installed it myself and it wasn't too hard to do so. If you don't have technical skills, you might be better off to let a MC mechanic do the job, but get prepared to spend another three to four hundred bucks more. Hope that helped.
Hello, my name is John. I have always ridden nobullshit naked bikes with one exception, but now I have to switch to a DCT HONDA because the fingers of my left hand no longer work properly for the clutch actuation. My question to you is: Don't you think this motorcycle is top heavy? I've heard that from several riders. Have you also purchased fall protection? I once lost a small fortune when a Honda with plastic shrouds fell off its stand.
I got a 2015 DCT and I'm very satisfied with it. It is a mile-eater and excellent for long traveling. Somewhat heavy though, it`s hard to push it around.
I recently purchased a 2016 in the US (were there are not many of this model, it was only imported for two years). It is a wonderful machine and overlooked as others have said.
Indeed too heavy for real adventure but It s a great powerfull roadbeast with an adventure style . No problems after 70000Km ... Honda is quality for life !
I have owned this motorcycle for 1 year now, one of the last built in 2018 with DCT. It is indeed a heavy motorcycle, but for me, 1.93 tall and 105 kilos, an absolutely wonderful motorcycle. It really is a motorcycle that you can do anything with, vacations, and if you want, ride around the world, because it's Honda👍👍👌👌😉💪I❤it!!
Nice job. You got my like. It is not available as new in my country and that is a shame. Otherwise a very nice bike. What was the button there on the left for? Heated seat? Thanks buddy.
An excellent honest review as always. If I may I would suggest prospective owners check out the VFR 1200 engine problems in the models that use this engine and note that it really is far too heavy to fit the 'Adventure Bike' description some reviewers say it is. I have a friend who has one having said that and he has had zero problems in 16,000 road miles........mostly motorways............to date.
Yeah, dual sport or crosstourer like the name says. Not adventure. now... I shouldnt say too much as I have little off-road experience and have seen people doing TET using monkey bikes (lol). But a good dual sport like the tracer.... A DVMC member has a VRF1200F and I invited him to do some offroading, then I googled the bike, lol.... Thanks for watching Paul. You wont like next weeks video though!
So what problems does this engine have? Thought it was bullet proof. You then say your friend has one and had zero problems in 16,000 miles bit of a contradiction..
I always liked this bike, but then I got something else. Now, that I need a DCT transmission, I can't find alcua interesante offer! What discourages me is the weight of the bike......! Could you touch it with both soles of your feet or only with your toes?
haha yeah. I'm not a big fan of the "panniers-look" I think they ruin the whole look of the motorcycle. sure, they are good for longer travels, but still... =) Thanks for watching brother!
Hmmm. Seems it's a great combination of light off road fun and comfort on the pavement. I agree with you on the luggage bags, though...they're ugly and way too big. lol. It would be a perfect bike for around my area. :)
I have the 2010 VFR 1200F which is the pretty bike before Honda really uglied it up with this bike. I have no idea what the attraction is with taking this fantastic engine off-road. The fairing is ugly, the mirrors are far too narrow, the instrument cluster is hard to read. What was Honda thinking??
hehe, yeah it's not of everyone's taste.. I'm actually going to test ride the VFR 1200F this week hopefully. Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss when I upload it =) Thanks for watching Allan
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the X is the Swiss Army knives of Motoercycles and have taken it on moderate off-road and long distance-the F is a fine machine but in no comparison to the X as far as veracity.

Bought one today. 2014 model. Thanks for the review
Thanks for watching and ride safe with your bike 👍
i got a crosstourer and i love that bike, very powerfull and strong! no fancy computer that can give you problems, just a no Bullshit bike lol!
Agree!
I have a Yamaha T7 and it’s the same there. You can turn off the abs… that’s it. Rest is just pure bike. :)

I’ve had mine on so moderate dirt road and was excellent,I was more afraid of dropping it and the cost as I would with any bike that cost 10 grand.

Thank you for the great video. beautiful

Gotta love that V4 rumble! My old workmate called these engines "potato-pots" because they sound a bit like a boiling potato pan at idle :D
v4 sure sounds nice! =)
kiitos katsomisesta!
how much are the fuel consumptions? Do you have any information? thank you
16.7km/litre (Tested in D-Mode WMTC mode) 16.1km/litre for standard transmission version

@@Darkvisor Thanks you,,,,👋
I tested a 800 crossrunner a couple years ago. A very comfy bike. I would love to test this big brother bike.
I hope you get to one day! =)
Sure is a great bike, Honda does have a rep for making great bikes!
Thanks for watching John
I have one since 2012. I do not think that I can switch to something else. Paramount of long distance adv. biking...
Sounds great Yakup. A nice mix from both worlds =)

Wow that one looks massive! Lots of room for luggage too. I like that.

If you do a manual job for a living you will have no problem with the weight.
Great video! Try my VFR1200F next time :)
Thanks Tobram!
It would be my honor... =)
We'll hook up this summer for some nice riding together!

V4! ❤️
tack för titten tobey
I have one from 2014. The only problem is the weight. It is too heavy to maneuver at a standstill. Otherwise it's a fantastic bike.
Hmm I didn’t have that problem but I guess it’s different from person to person.
Thanks for watching and for making a comment
Ser riktigt nice ut på grusvägen! Låter gött gör den med 👍🏻
tack för titten Jenna! 💐

Almost all bikes I can touch with only my toes except lower bikes like cruisers (harley-davidson etc)

A bike that's gone under many people's radar. For me it's overweight compared to lots of the competition and the BMW GS dominates that sector.
Thanks for watching bandit
not exactly a bike for me but it sure looks like it can handle alot, and the price isnt bad either! 👌👌
you need to join us... join the T7 club...
do it.... do it now!
Puss!
An excellent honest review really cant wait to buy
I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed my video. Thanks for watching and good luck buying your bike. Ride safe

Izskatās jau ļoti ērti 😄 Bet tiešām nav par smagu kā visi runā?🤤
ko tu domā ar pārāk grūti?
Es domāju svara ziņā! Pa meža takām vai izbraukt ar viņu pie jūras?
