I take it the super market buyers don't want them perfectly edible potatoes with the growth cracks on them. I taught the supermarkets were all for sustainably, less food waste etc. etc. Well no. I know they not, it all about bottom line and making the farmers jump through all the hoops for the public perception that they give a dam.
