    As a newbie to the world of beads, I want to thank you for an excellent tutorial. When I first saw these squares on Pinterest (of course), I knew immediately that I wanted to learn to make them. After many searches I found your UA-cam page and become a subscriber. So far this week I was able to make four of the squares, taking them apart and restarting dozens of times. (I'm a slow learner ). I think I have finally gotten the hang of it and look forward to making more pieces from your other tutorials. Your style and colors are exactly what I love. Thanks again for making it easier for this old gal.

    Thank you so much for this in-depth tutorial. This can be a casual look or dress up look. What kind of knot do you make to tie it on the wrist? Regular knot then tuck the ends in? Is it just a half knot then tuck it in? I am trying to picture it but having some difficulty envisioning knot with a flat look to it as we would not want something bulking.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому

      +Rhonda Williams I Wrap it around my wrist a couple of times, tied a knot and tuck the ends in as you said. If I’m going really casual I just wrap, tie it, and let the ends hang loose.

    Stephanie, as always thanks for sharing and being a fabulous teacher. I do have 1 question...do you think I could make the square out of just size 11 seed beads? If not, I'll have to order some delicas. TY

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  7 років тому

      aslayne64 Thank you so much 🙏😊😍 Yes you can use 11/0’s as well. Doesn’t have to be Delicas.

    Hi Stephany, nice tutorial, I like the simplicity of the piece and the square it's a clever wrap-idea!!! Miyuki Delica 10/0 are quite difficult to find and they're expensive...I suppose this piece can be done with Delica 8/0 as well as with Delica 11/0's?! Mine is a question which I've probably already answered?! Is it correct? Thank you!

    Question have you ever thought of filling these with something to make them more "puffy", if so what would you use?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому

      Filling the squares? They are pretty stiff so filling them wouldn't be possible.

      Hi Angela, I just couldn’t get it, so I went to Kelly Dale Dalton, she did a smaller one. Then came back to Stephanie’s, much easier this time. The step-up isn’t real clear when you first start. Love ❤️ this pattern now that I’ve figured it out.

    Is the number of (row) the corner beads should always be 5 ? At 27:04min of your video (while you were zipping up the sides of the square, the top two square on the screen have only 4 rows of corner beads ! Those 2 squares looked skinnier than the rest, so is there a rule on how to determine number of row we should make in working with these shapes ?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  7 років тому

      Hi Emily 🌻 In the video I explain that you can change the dimensions of the square by changing the number of rows of beads you add to the corners or the amount of beads in between the corners. The size of the opening of the square will change if you put leas beads in between the corner beads on you initial round. The sides of the square will be wider with more corner rows. Hope this helps 😃
