In small groups, all students must be accountable for something.

Can you provide a link to a list of what the “talk moves” actually look like?

This is what I could capture in a screenshot (Didn't find anything in a search of Edutopia's site - no time to dig in with other phrases):
      ADD ON
"I would like to add on to what ____ said"
      REASONING
      "I agree because ____"
      "I disagree because ___"
      "This is true because___"
      REPEATING
      "I heard you say___"
"Can you repeat what you said?" or
"Can you rephrase what you said about _____?"
REVOICING (cannot see this one, so I am speculating here)
"You said ______. Did I understand you correctly?"

Thank You Edutopia Team, for bringing up these good chunks of information. When I still watching your video, I came up with Lots of Ideas that can be included in sessions

    Hello Edutopia,
I really enjoy this idea of inviting students to talk and I think it would be very beneficial to set a classroom up with this “brave space” to speak. Some students are uncomfortable with speaking up and asking questions because they do not want to show other students they do not understand the content. I have students like this now, I would go over to help my students individually and they would refuse my help even though they clearly do not understand what it going on. I think part of it is that they don’t know where to start asking too. I think taping the talk moves to the table is a great way to get them to start having productive conversations in class. How do you see this implemented in a mathematics classroom?
