He is like the most kind-hearted total drama character ever. Characters like DJ would still do stuff like cheat or hold grudges but Wayne literally never gets angry at anyone. He hates cheating and he even forgets that there was prize money. HE just was there to have fun with his buddy. He is like a golden retriever.
This video gives me two thoughts: 1: HOW IS THIS MAN THE ONLY TDIR CHARACTER TO NOT BE VOTED OUT, and… 2: I’m so proud of this man for not being voted out😌
People can't get mad about Wayne winning if they like Owen winning, while their obviously different characters, in terms of their place in the season as a whole they both serve the same sort of comic relief dumb and optimistic character that just coasted through by not being a target when there are contestants that did more in the season that makes them more deserving. Also with the whole 'but season 1 had alt winners' thing, there is so much evidence that Owen canonically won, from his family going into debut because his mom bought the cheese seller when he won only for him to give the 100k away for a chance at 1mil to Gwen saying that she almost won in a confessional at some point to in the very season Wayne was Owen showing up as the season 1 winner cameo and Gwen not even being mentioned.
Wayne is probably the only TDI character to be in more than 1 season and to never get voted out aside from maybe Izzy, in season 1 he and Raj get disqualified by being too injured and in season 2 he wins, I bet if we saw the votes for each elimination he'd probably have the least out of everyone Edit: DJ and Cameron also never get voted off and Izzy does get voted off

Season 1 it was an automatic elimination because he was the only one who screamed in terror without Chef being the cause, Season 2 he quit, and Season 3 was another automatic elimination due to being the last member of his team. However, Wayne still beats him due to never even being in the bottom two of an elimination
The same thing goes for Cameron as well. He made it to the finale in one season, and was disqualified in another due to an injury. He was never really voted out.
