Dear dear Chadwick it was a horrible shock you were such an amazing Actor. You hid your illness you carried on you fought to carry on when you should have rested but no you carried on. Cancer is evil it's cruel years & years of testing still no cure for many. You'll be always remembered God bless xx😢

Chadwicks death came at a time when my 52 year old husband had been fighting stage 4 esophageal cancer since being diagnosed in August 2019. He was struggling to keep up with treatments as they were working less and less. Sadly my husband passed away not long after Chadwick. September 11, 2020. I feel that 2020 was the start of a huge amount of cancer deaths. Healthcare had pushed everyone to the back that was already in thesystem before COVID-19. I persoonally knew 10 people who died in 10 month period that year... all living in Saskatoon... never knew sp many people dieing so young ever before. I had connections with these people before my husband was diagnosed. It just seems puzzling that cancer became a main reason of death and honestly, i still have never met anyone that died of COVID-19.

Cancer is truly awful. My grandad died of it too, he lived 4 years after diagnosis... There is tremendous level of pain at the end, no one deserves this way to leave the world, i was there at the hospital... I wish i had answers how to cure it, after my grandads passing i became passionate about wanting to solve this grave illness

I encountered him in Natchez, Mississippi at the hotel he was staying during filming for Get on Up. He was so polite to the hotel staff, friendly and just a nice person. He died too young.

I so love him, still. He is missed. I'm so pleased that God gave him to the world, even if not as long as we would want. The good die young!

It’s 2024 I don’t think it’s acceptable that we can’t cure cancer yet. I understand that the money is in the treatment not the cure but at some point it has to give.

I believe they know a cuter for many different types but gross facts… they make a lot of money off treatments.

Isn't possible to cure cancer, there's over 200 known types. There's also over five different forms from blood cancer to bone cancer.
Then there's another hurdle: it's rogue cells. Unlike germs, rogue cells are much harder to treat, we haven't got the tools or knowledge to separate healthy cells from rogue cells, early enough,
because if you are going to attack cells, rogue and healthy cells still share the same format, you have to attack all cells..
It's an interesting topic, but we should get better at reverse engineering rogue cells and understand why they grow uncontrollably so when a tumor is removed, all the rogue cells are taken out or ones left over can be "worked on" under surgery
We are not that advanced yet. I think A.i might have answers someday

@@JamesPhillipsOfficial maybe one day but current AI is just fancy scripts packaged up to provide nice sentences it doesn’t have any actual real world application and there is 0 intelligence it’s just marketing. I work in the tech industry.

@@JamesPhillipsOfficial I agree. I didn’t say all cancer but certain types. I don’t think people understand how much money is paid on cancer. It’s pretty wild.

Schomburg is pronounced "Shomburg" not "Scomburg"
Other than that 😢. I'm still in shock that he's gone. A man of character, substance, integrity, incredibly gifted, charitable... that's why his loss is felt so heavily. We not only mourned what he had already done, we mourned his unrealized destiny.

If you can't realize the deep reason WHY he was so important to black people, that's fine. But don't you DARE diminish and undermine the feelings of those of us who feel it.
