As I was rewatching this amazing interview - a few thoughts came to my mind.. In my humble opinion, Sudha ji herself being a doyen of Carnatic music and as part of the great Chennai music organization can bring forth certain standards and norms as suggested by Indira ji so no talented musician is left unnoticed or harassed due to power or gender. And all are treated equally so that our extraordinary Carnatic music will flourish. Only Music prevails.

Felt thrilled when Indiraji said she visited Palani after listening to her song and it had a profound impact on her life. The only complaint I can make is that Indiraji is an inspiration to everyone and the questions tried to pin down to gender-related issues.I'm glad she categorically said that success is related to the job and not gender. Do you think women around 55 yrs of age also should strive to earn and do something for financial and economic independence? Women who were in the house but now wanting to do something.
Economic independence brings about many changes in the life of a woman.next the country's gdp increase and the more women are in the workforce or earning develops them?
Should a woman strive for economic and financial independence at any age ?

Nothing can happen without the support of the family. Those people can achieve anything. Sometimes even if you are talented, you just don't get support and chance to showcase that.
