Congratulations South Africa from an Irishman 🇮🇪🇿🇦. Beat France by 1pt, England by 1pt, New Zealand by 1pt. This isn't by coincidence. Incredible team spirit and determination and it's a joy to watch. The unity in that team is incredible. And finally thanks for all the coverage in this World Cup Tim, the last 2 months tuning in to your channel has become a must. Nearly doubling your followers during the tournament. Onwards to even bigger things now Tim, you should be massively proud of yourself 👏👏👏
Thank you so much my friend, we may be enemies on the field, but all respect to all off the field, rugby was the winner at the end of the day, best WC by far
South Africa's defence especially in the last 10mins is ridiculously incredible,in all these 3games they went into the last 10mins with a 1point lead and defended it well against the top class teams .
As a neutral, it was incredible to witness the two behemoths of rugby slog it out in the rain. Steph Du Tois was immense, as was Telea for NZ. Congrats Bokke, deserved champions. Humbling to see how much it means to the team and the fans. We will see you there, one day... Huge love and respect to both sides, from Ireland 🇮🇪
I was inclined to agree with you earlier in the tournament, it bugged me as well. But then, 3, now 4 world cups each? Wouldn't you be cocky as well? And more importantly, the loud obnoxious c*nts in the comment sections are hardly representative of an entire fan base. I work with a bunch of Saffas at home here in Ireland. Wonderful people, I know they will be over the moon with this result.
Judging by this final, Ireland must be kicking themselves for your no show against New Zealand, as a South African I honestly thought you guys would lift the cup this year. Thanks for a great world cup, the only team to beat South Africa was Ireland and you can get immensely proud. See you lads on tour
@@danquigley7285 I agree with most of what you say. But the sneering and mocking all the way through and after the Q/F was way over the top. But fair enough if you want to send them huge love.
CONGRATS SOUTH AFRICA from a Frenchman. As Tim puts it, the Kolisi speech / interview justifies the victory on its own. They make sports useful for their people and the world. What an amazing team. One of the very best in the world without any doubt. And how amazing was the opposition, chiefly NZ IRE and FRA.
Youve given up on objective thought. NZ was robbed by the ref and TMO but some feel-good speech means that they always deserved the Cup? Now we see the agenda..
This speech does not justify their win, it explains it. SA needs this kind of moment so badly, World Rugby just couldn't let it be up to the players. Everything they needed went their way, from the officiating to the simple fact that they could participate despite them not respecting the rules against drugs.
What???? There's no doping allegations on South Africa... Get a grip, if you haven't watched rugby these last 30 years then you'd be forgiven for thinking that Wayne Barns favoured South Africa. Both incidents recieved the yellow and Wayne didn't elevate it the TMO did.
Yes Tim I'm a neutral England fan and i have no finger nails left after watching that game. Congrats South Africa you won this world cup after such a hard route, you guys are the best rugby team in the world 👏🍻
From a South African, thank you New Zealand for making such a special game and tournament. The pride in taking their medal with such honour and humility was breathtaking. A moment I will always remember.
I know in years to come we will forget. But TODAY I want to say I'm proud to be a Kiwi. Yes we lost. And congrats to SA. But the boys competed for most of the match brilliant and showed the class and character to get back in the game. Proud is an understatement!
Well done South Africa from Ireland. Well deserved world champions again. You clearly have the best squad no doubt. See you soon, best wishes and enjoy the celebrations 🇮🇪🇿🇦
Ireland are an immense team loads of respect from a South African as well as the French. Hope you guys come back stronger!!!! Six nations next and I’ll be screaming for Ireland!!!!
Love the south African spirit, great champions and well deserved, tight 1 point wins in 3 game's and very little between the top 4 team's, as an irishman we need to learn quickly on how they do things in south Africa, we beat you in the pool stages but it's a marathon not a sprint and you guys know how to win, enjoy the celebrations 👍👍👍🇮🇪🇮🇪🇿🇦🇿🇦
Thank you kind sir - you've beaten us the last 2 (maybe more) games, can't wait to play you guys again, it'll be monumental as always! Crazy that you were the only ones to beat us - your lads deserved so much more from this comp..
Congrats South Africa on your fourth RWC from New Zealand. I hope this World Cup delivers plenty more hope to your country. What an intense game. Another epic encounter in our rivalry and long may it continue. Respect to the springboks. I am proud of the All Blacks to make the final and only lose by 1 point after where they were 18 months ago. Incredible turnaround and well done to Ian Foster on your resilience and the good job getting the team here. Razor is taking over an All Blacks side on an epic rise and he will take this team to new heights.
As a Kiwi I don’t feel hard done by. SA are well deserved winners of this game and this tournament. Very admirable effort by the AB’s but you let this one slip out of your hands. It seems you get more drama than actual rugby in international matches these days. Congrats South Africa, may the rivalry live on forever!!!
Agreed - more drama, far less running than we all want. The rain and the (unnecessary) red card stuffed this one a bit. Why do they organise a tournament in Europe with a final in early rain season?! Anyways, if your ABs had won I'd raise a toast to them cos they deserve it for their 180 over the last year. Sorry one of us had to lose it pal, take care!
A few years ago I was crying and hugging my friends in London. Now I probably watched my final RWC game with my mom. Been caring for her for 11 years in SA. She is suffering from heart failure. Thanks Tim for your content. This is another special one for me.
Drama in that game. But I am sure I will speak for so many here TIM YOU HAVE BEEN AMAZING. You added another level to the whole tournament. I loved your journey therough France and I was lucky to be at two games and hoped to meet you but it didn't happen, Thank you so much for your passion for rugby and this tournament, you have been amazing.
@@ObiePaddlesWhat is ridiculous, and embarrasing is your total lack of class in defeat. Springboks: 4 RWCs in 8 attempts. ABs 3 in 10 attempts. Unlike you, Springbok fans will continue to respect our opponents and will still have immense respect for the ABs and the majority of their fans.
I was 17, and at Ellispark, when we won our 1st WC. Fast forward 28 years, my daughter is now 17 and experienced playing the AB in a WC final and being victorious. Simply amazing. Tim, I started following you after the Twickenham game and I'm glad I did. Throughout this WC your input and analysis of all the games were truly amazing and I love your passion for the game. The WC trophy should be renamed and should be known as the Tim Cocker trophy.
I was 15 in ‘95 and my daughter is now 15 and has watched both the 2019 WC and now this one. The Bokke are amazing! Rugby won this round. I hope the whole world has taken notice and remembers how good this game is. We now live down under and it is very sad to watch the apathy here for the game! We the fans, have to keep the rugby flame going! Games like we have seen from the very first whistle between France and the All Blacks only help. 🇿🇦🫶🏻🏉
I remember the sound of the country erupting in '95. Was mental....I have such good memories of that time in SA. I so wish SA an turn itself around. I also live in Aus now and yes, the game is more than 50% dead here now. In fact, there really isn't any sport here now anymore that has the whole country passionately behind....it's very much club teams that rule in NRL and League
As a South African, I really want to congratulate NZ. You played like an immense 15 man team for 80 minutes. Never gave up and pushed us right to the edge. Nothing in it. Thanks for the opportunity to share this great stage with you. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
As a Saffa - can I start by saying, 100% credit to the ABs… You are a massive credit to your team and nation…. As a Saffa,,, I am so Proud of my team… I love my team, my country… and the sport!
As a South African, I can say my blood pressure is off the charts. 1 point wins 3 times in 3 weeks, I can't cope. But well done both teams, what an incredible match and world cup
Congratulations South Africa, from a Kiwi. Immense game from both sides. I'll leave any comments about the English refs out. I am just proud we got to the final, and stayed competitive with 14 on the field. No harsh feelings towards Sam Cane, he got us to the final when we were all writing them off at home for the tournament. So proud of our lads, and just well done the Boks, we'll see you next year.
Your boys absolutely deserved to be there and they played fantastically, hold you head high bro! May the rivalry continue with the respect and passion that it has always had. We love playing the AB's, they are our ultimate nemesis. Well done NZ!
Congratulations Bok from a Kiwi. Such an immense game and we had our chances and didn't take them. Couple of controversial calls but we expected that from the refs and no excuses. Cheers Tim enjoyed watching the channel through the WC.
From a South African supporter thank you. Our country has a huge amount of respect for you. A lot of South Africans have a soft spot for the NZ team a wonderful performance hold your heads up with pride, you gave us a run for our money.
Thanks Tim for taking us on your journey and being part of ours during this world cup! Poets feed the social fabric of cultures through their words ! You are a tribute and an asset to Rugby! Go Bokke
The All Blacks not ripping off or rejecting their silver medals...what a group of gentlemen...as opposed to English (gentlemen?). Thank you All Blacks for such a heroic display of rugby. Go Bokke! Dankie! Julle is die beste!
Man, as one S African to another, the contest is over and please be gracious - you're representing all S Africans. How the English players dealt with their disappointment last WC is something they don't have to explain to you or me.
Great men stand out in victory and defeat. Aaron Smith is one of the few. Graceful and humble. What a player, what a heart. We Saffas have the utmost respect for the All Blacks, we know their passion for the game more than equals ours. To play most of the game with 14 men and beating us back in the process shows CHARACTER. To play in a final against the greatest exponents of this beautiful game is a privilege and an honour. You can hold your heads up high!
My heart literally stopped!! Eish! John Smit called it and I wasn't impressed with that prediction, wow! The Springboks play for the nation, so I guess that is what drives the team! What an incredible team, true class. All respect to the All Blacks, true sportsman!
Congratulations and massive respect to two behemoths of rugby!!! Fairplay to New Zealand for going toe to toe whilst a man down and to South Africa for seeing the game out like a champion side! Really, really enjoyed the game! Again, massive respect to both teams!!🇮🇪🇮🇪👏👏👏
Hard luck ABs. Definitely the better team in the second half. Massive congratulations to SA. You found a way. Sam Cane was so unlucky and how sad for him to miss most of that game. Ireland the only team to beat them, give us that little bit of glory people please 😂. Tim thanks for making this WC so special and look forward to your Six Nations coverage. Hold your heads high NZ your boys were brave beyond words and deserve your thanks and respect. Enjoy SA ☘️🇮🇪
@@tonysa2337 hey thank you for that. Hopefully they will be back in four years time to continue to make us proud. So sad the WC has ended. It’s been amazing. Sincerely thank you for your kind words ☘️🇮🇪
Still gutted that you guys didn't make it all the way to the Finals, I love that we got to play our biggest longstanding rivals in the final but I wanted a sa vs Ireland final , the North vs South and a rematch since you guys beat us lol!
Thank you for your work man, as an NZ supporter I couldn’t more proud of our ABs. Not given a chance before the WC, and we came so close with 14 men. There will always be pretentious calls that neither side agree on but that’s rugby. Incredible from SA, they deserve it. There is not another team that I would rather lose to. Sam Cane is my captain. 😢
As a Saffa there’s no other team I’d rather lose to than the AB’s. Hold your heads high, it was such a close game and someone had to lose. Your pride is fully justified. See you in 4 years 😊
Good on you mate!!!! The AB'S are just amazing!!!! 14 men for most of the game and still in it till the last second. Sam is an amazing player just bad luck could have happened to anyone. We took this one, next year the AB'S will probably smack us again. Long live the rivarely!!!
It’s tough to be a Bok supporter, the stress past 3 weeks was incredible but what a game and for NZ to be there for 50 min with 14 men was incredible, huge respect for 2 great resilient rugby countries.
Congratulations from Ireland. The Bokke have given us so much entertainment through the tournament. Deserved winners and PSdT definitely player of the tournament
Ultimate attack vs Ultimate defence. That 2nd half was amazing!! All Blacks can hold their head high. They fought to the end! Go Bokke!! Love from a South African living in New Zealand
What a world Cup player of the tournament for me was probably Kwagga Smith made an huge impact on every single game he played off the bench And thanks to Tim for great world cup coverage long may it continue!!! Unbelievable by the Boks having to play Scotland,Ireland France,England and New Zealand stuff of legends Well done Bokke you made us proud
I am crying tears of joy tonight, for the bokke. They truly are a bright shining light in the dark here in SA. I love them. They don't expect everyone's respect, but damn do they deserve it! Tim, South Africans have all just had such heavy beating heart, i think they felt it on the field. My respect to you for the journey you took us on in this world cup. And huge respect to our biggest foes the All Blacks. Couldnt have asked for a tougher opponent for the final. overjoyed. Thank you
Thanks Tim, what a brilliant game. Hard luck NZ but Bokke you were simply the best. SA NEEDED this win, we are so proud of you all. Bokke all the way to the finish line ❤
A miracle run for the ages. They say you play a final not to lose a final, and NZ definitely lost the final. It's a shame that a final was decided by a card. As a saffa I can't complain, but I feel for the ABs tonight, but we all know they'll bounce back and win it in 2027 in their backyard. Thank you, boks, for inspiring a nation once again. Go bokke!!! 🇿🇦 🇿🇦 🇿🇦
Amazing defence from the boks, we had to work hard for that even though they were down to 14 for most of the game. NZ had a fantastic performance and got nothing but respect for them. We just got over the line. Go Bokke!!!🎉🎉
Congratulations Bokke much respect from NZ disappointed with some of the referee decisions but can’t take anything from yous you are the best in the world
Commiserations to the ABs. As a Saffa I know how much it means to you and how much it must hurt, but you can be proud of how hard you pushed us and the effort you put in. The rivalry remains and in the end rugby is the winner ❤
NZ here... Congrats Bok. Questionable officiating but Sam Cane send off was right Proud of Abs for the brand of rugby. Unfortunately didn't take chances though 14 men. But immensely proud.
Watched the ‘95 RWC at my grandma’s 2nd wedding at age 11. My grandpa passed away and she then reconnected with and married her high school sweetheart. They rescheduled the ceremony in order to watch the game 😂 we hit the streets after and cruised down the waterfront at Somerset West cheering madly with the rest of the crowds. Core memory! Fast forward and I’m now watching this at 6am in Australia. This win still brought tears to my eyes. It means so much. It’s 100% true that this team caries the hearts of a nation on their shoulders.
The physicality and level of intensity that SA are able to maintain with relatively few errors… Formidable. Guys like du Toit and Smith. Composure wise, I thought the half-backs were very influential. Pollard with the boot, Faf with his decision-making and defence. Factor in the tactical nous of the coaches - cards managed well, timely subs - and this is now the benchmark for 80-minute international rugby. It feels more telling than the one-point wins suggest. Challengers are going to have to formulate new game plans and stress-test them like never before. Even then, how do you simulate the pressure of a WC Final? Nz showed a tonne of heart, typified but the warrior Savea. Shame they didn’t get it wide more often. Lads like Telea were hard to put down and good at getting the pass away. Tim, huge thanks for creating this space where we can really appreciate this great sport. Not many rugby people around me anymore. My brother, who was my go-to but no longer here, would have loved it. Eggchasers feels like a proper community and truly worldwide. Excited to see what comes next. Take us to the grassroots. That would be fascinating.
Thanks Tim..... flippppp these 1 point wins are just crazy thank you Boks for bring it home 🏡 🎉😊😊 Big respect to the All Black's, Big thanks to France and the ultimate winner is Rugby 🏉 ❤
Wow, wow, wow.... Huge hits and drama in that game. I just wish that the cards didn't come into the game but obviously being a final, no quarter was given and no holding back, so one or two were expected. As a SA I am so proud of our boys but cuddos to NZ for staying with us..... That could have gone either way. Greatest respect for our old foe, they never lay down and never give up. Most had written them off coming into the world cup.... But you can never right off NZ who are, in my eyes and stats wise, the best rugby nation on earth. Luckily tonight it was the defensive effort of the Springboks that won the day. 🙏 I look forward to many more huge encounters between the old foe. Much respect.
Tim, your channel is THE rugby lovers channel. Well done for your passionate yet level headed reviews of some spectacular rugby matches at this World Cup. What a final! Both teams were incredible.
Well done BOKKE!!! now, come back home. You have conquered the World 🏆🏆🏆 New Zealand, you played your hearts out, you really kept us on the edge of our couches. You were super amazing as usual!
As a South African living in England... To all the teams in this world cup, from tier 1 to tier 2...what a tournament. You boys have given the game of rugby new meaning. As world champions for the 4th time we can and cannot boast about it. Its been a hard fight with BRILLIANT competition on the way... FRANCE, IRELAND, SCOTLAND, YES, EVEN ENGLAND AND THEN THE ALL BLACKS...brilliant RUGBY from all of you. Tim, brilliant commentary and neutrality, i pray all rugby supporters would show your level of love and support for the game and nothing else. At the end of the day there should be only one winner...and that should always be rugby. Well done to every single team.
As a kiwi, I'm proud of the boys and empathise with their pain. But I gotta say, I genuinely cheered seeing Kolisi lifting the cup. Another SA-NZ classic.
Real drama. An epic second half. Congratulations to both teams. Total respect for all players. Unfortunately there has to be a loser if there is to be a winner. Well done all. Thanks Tim, this was the best World Cup coverage ever. Ireland will learn from this I hope. Fantastic tournament.
Thank you, Tim. You made this RWC even better, if it ever could. Your love of the game, which I share, is captivating. Commentator of the RWC, in my mind!
Tim, you've made this world cup more enjoyable. Thank you for taking us on this journey. I've been watching all these games by myself and you have been like a friend during these weeks.
Massive respect to the AB's for an amazing game. You can be very, very proud, and as a South African I want to tip my hat to a game that I don't think that I will ever forget. Very proud for this win.
Tim - your relatable commentary and analysis over rhis world cup has turned me into a real rugby fan. I have been married to an avid AB fan for 30 years so rugby has been background noise, but your podcasts bought it to life for me. Thank you!
So many massive performances. The guy who wasn't on the plane won this like he did last week. The abs despite the red were brilliant . Wayne Barnes and the TMO fantastic I know when they go through with a surgeons scalpel that there will be stuff they missed. You cannot see everything. Massive shout out Tim, and to the hosts fantastic atmosphere throughout. Well done the Books.
I can't believe it is now all over!. An awesome intense game. So numb. Both teams out on their feet. Thankfully your posts Tim were on key with no bias and were a pleasure to tap into on this wonderful journey. 😊
My team won, much respect to NZ they put in quite the effort with a man down and can hold their heads up high. After those 3 weekends my heart can't take it anymore and there's a little relief that its all over. Thanks Tim for the coverage, followed you through out
Thank you Tim for your fantastic channel. So proud of the Boks! Hopefully our President Ramaposa can see what honest hard work, working together and passion can do. They did it for South Africa and all South Africans. We are proud of our team but want to be Proud of our Country as well. P. S loadshedding starts Monday!
Gutted for our team. Everyone is going to talk about the referee. But at the end of the day New Zealand had the chance to win. It’s set in stone now can’t change the result. Massive effort from the all Blacks with 14 men. Congrats to South Africa.. they had cards too. They won on the scoreboard and that’s all that matters.
Hard luck NZ, well done RSA. That mistake 3 point call by the referee team was the difference. Well done Wayne Barnes for acknowledging the mistake mid game. Great game for all to see. Thank you so much Tim for your coverage of the whole competition. Thanks Tim.
Barnes and co were an absolute disgrace, seems very able to overturn one poor decision but not another. Once again Barnes for man of the match-complete idiot.
Moment of the RWC, Ireland SA Zombie bellowing after a classic on a Saturday night in Paris with a platter of rugby still to come... Great coverage Tim!!
New Zealand, your ABs were amazing to put that fight up. There were so many players I was gutted to see lose (Ardie, Sam Cane, Jordie, Aaron Smith etc) - and congrats on scoring the first try against us ever in a WC final. Your boys actually looked energised by the red card - and let's to forget that that red card call wasn't really necessary by WB - the whole WC those calls have been inconsistent and I personally would've rather Cane got a yellow. (although Dalton doing Bongi's knee inn actually pissed me off cos then we lost our hooker for the whole game so that's another story for another day) - point being, please celebrate your team NZ , support your captain and Jordie - we have so much damn respect for NZ and for their all-time-best-win-ratio in basically ALL sports worldwide - we won't forget that, at least I hope my fellow Saffers won't forget that. NZ have inspired us, as our enemies, since 1996... And thanks for bringing it to us tonight 100%. It could've been anyone's trophy - a kick either way, a dropped ball here or there, a better decision taken by a player etc. For me, the red card ruined it, but it didn't ruin the ABs, they fought like warriors. Much love, NZ
As a Kiwi, well done on an epic final. Also, thank you for your impartial analysis. I am happy for South Africa on their win. However, I would have felt better about it if he officiating had been taken out of it more and seen SA step up and claim it. But, regardless they showed why they are a champion side, as they find a way.
@@fmacclure I agree 100% - I saw some of the Boks most talented players (Willemse especially) refusing to run it, even when there were overlaps and acres of space - and it made me think we didn't actually deserve it. But then when I look at the Bok defenders, I do see guys worthy of holding the trophy. Long story short, I'd like to see the next WC claimed by a team that grabs it, as you say, instead of defending it.
@@aleccastro4761 Totally agree. I still think the Bokks deserve and are genuinely happy for them. I just hope World Rugby can favour positive rugby and empowers to teams to step up and win it rather than just defend it so to speak.
@@fmacclure completely agree. What irritates me about the rules is that teams who actually have running talent are mutating their game (Fiji, Ireland, Wales, etc) to try and match the physicality. The craziest thing for me is that the Boks are in the top 3 running rugby teams worldwide (when you look at our sevens), along with ABs and Fiji, so I dont think shifting the rules to suit running rugby would hurt anyone.
@@aleccastro4761 Great point. I think South Africa are the best placed nation long term in rugby also. They play their 'super rugby' in the Northern Hemisphere and Internationals in the Southern. They also have an amazing mix of pace, talent and brute size and strength when it counts. The perfect blend right now.
Thank you Tim for your passion, insight, entertaining and enjoyable show. There was no ref issues. Both teams had a chance to win big...and never did. The rivalry and respect for these teams will never die. NZ , a very brave and heroic effort. SA, what a story of tenacity! What a final! You are kidding me .. a 1 point final.
Thank you Tim, it's been a Great Journey Watching the World Cup with you. I'm proud of my team the Boks. We wanted it more, it meant everything to us. They were playing for us and what is happening in our Beautiful Land.
They all improved since their time there - never forgetting Felix Jones, a wonderfully dedicated servant to SA Rugby, so thank you for your nation's contributions!
Well done SA. What a game so much drama and tension.. Losing isn't pleasant when so close but happy it was to you guys . Until we meet again and congrats .
All respect to the ABs for their determination and bravery. Never a dull moment in this rivalry. Thank you thank you to the Bokke for bringing another one home for us!! One nation, united under green and gold. Die Bok Leef!!! 🇿🇦🏉
From a South African, as the debate will start as to if this bok team can be considered as the greatest team of all time, let me share a view. I believe the AB's of 2011 to 2015 is unrivaled, winning 87% of their games under Hansen. I do believe, however, that this team can stake a claim as the most clutch/BMT team of all time, they are unrivaled when it comes to playing the biggest pressure moments, and simply refusing to lose. It was a pity about the red card in a final though...
What a game. Soooo proud of our Bokke. Both teams gave it all on the field. Long live this rivalry of this beautiful game. Tim, thanks for such an amazing coverage of this World Cup. Great analysis and true, honest reactions and thoughts done in a completely human level. Long live this beautiful game!!!
Great effort from both teams. Shame about the cards but they were justified under the laws..... Shame they are the laws. Well done to SA. Great final from an Englishman. Tim top job mate. Awesome work all world cup.
Tim, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm a Saffa, so I'm stoked. But if anyone reading this can get a message to Sam, that was horrid luck. A red was devastating. Sam is one of the least deserving of any to suffer this. Well done to the ABs for containing and maintaining. If I was a NZ'er, I'd be proud.
Edge of your seat stuff... drama, passion, intensity, highs and lows, TMO rulings, but nothing can take it away from SA... Sincere and heart felt congrats to the Springboks. Kolisi what are leader, what mana, what a man... the Bok legacy transcends beyond rugby. To the AB's we could not be more proud...my head was buried in my hands for a good deal of the game and like many of our Rugby crazed country it will take a moment to recover from the outcome, However, I could not be more proud to be a Kiwi and AB fan (no matter what) Kia kaha.
Congrats to the Boks- you got the job done on the big night and are worthy champions. So proud of the ABs - a valiant effort, NZ is proud of you all. Thanks to this channel for the great coverage all RWC.
Thanks Tim . Congratulations on a superb coverage of RWC . You an Alfie ha concentrated on the Rugby and kept the politics out of it - well done! The post match interviews with Siya and Faf just shows how much this means to a struggling nation!
Just love this channel! Genuine and sincere all the time. Easy one of the best channels out there! As a South African living in New Zealand it’s been a tough buildup with loads of comments been thrown my way! Some friendly and some ugly! People forget that it’s more than a game for South Africans. It’s as important as our religion is to us. Well done Bokke. You are the lone shining light for so many! We all need new pacemakers but again, it was so worth it!
We need a serious rethink on the red cards for head contact, such a huge occasion spoiled by a red card for the AB's, as a Saffa kudos for the heart you showed and still taking the fight to the Boks and actually ending the stronger side. If there is no intention of foul play then leave it at a yellow. Huge respect for the officials who I think handled the match superbly. As for the fans that jeered the Boks, thank you for the motivation as you should know by now that we embrace adversity. Tim - love you and your unbiased reviews, keep them coming.
Tim, you have been the absolute best by far and throughout. You were on the ball full time with an unmatched work rate. Wow, what a pleasure it was to have taken this journey with you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
What we ask of the Boks is unfair. No words. Thank you, Tim for your humble yet extraordinary platform & channel celebrating Rugby. Respect and love to the Greatest of Rivals - the almighty All Blacks. We salute you and await the next chapter.
Tim, thank you for the brilliant content that you have created over the course of the tournament. You have provided a real fans eye view of travelling to test matches and being on tour. This has translated into a real community where an abiding love of the game comes before petty online trolling and abuse. Kudos to you, the only problem is that now you’ve made this such a civilised place, it seems churlish to share my rather negative views on the new champions on this forum. Let the boys play!
I think winning that many games by 1 point has to involve a certain element of luck ... to suggest luck plays no part is really not true
It was largely luck, Pollard slotted 3 vs england, Barrett and Muwunga both missed
Thank you so much my friend, we may be enemies on the field, but all respect to all off the field, rugby was the winner at the end of the day, best WC by far
@@glynmatthews678 Great teams make there own luck in my opinion
South Africa's defence especially in the last 10mins is ridiculously incredible,in all these 3games they went into the last 10mins with a 1point lead and defended it well against the top class teams .
As a neutral, it was incredible to witness the two behemoths of rugby slog it out in the rain. Steph Du Tois was immense, as was Telea for NZ. Congrats Bokke, deserved champions. Humbling to see how much it means to the team and the fans. We will see you there, one day... Huge love and respect to both sides, from Ireland 🇮🇪
Don't overdo it...the sneering behavior of SA and NZ fans on Irish-related rugby videos has been appalling this W.C. A real eye-opener.

@@danquigley7285 I agree with most of what you say. But the sneering and mocking all the way through and after the Q/F was way over the top. But fair enough if you want to send them huge love.
Feel sorry for Sam Cane,as a South African stupid to play rugby with 14 men. No need for yellow or red cards.
What a load of crap….
What???? There's no doping allegations on South Africa... Get a grip, if you haven't watched rugby these last 30 years then you'd be forgiven for thinking that Wayne Barns favoured South Africa. Both incidents recieved the yellow and Wayne didn't elevate it the TMO did.
@@thomaslequesne5475The All Blacks committed those infractions/ penalties, not World Rugby.
Yes Tim I'm a neutral England fan and i have no finger nails left after watching that game.
Congrats South Africa you won this world cup after such a hard route, you guys are the best rugby team in the world 👏🍻
Thank you and you can be proud of your team as well. All respect
Thank you...
Thanks Jason appreciate mate.
From a South African, thank you New Zealand for making such a special game and tournament. The pride in taking their medal with such honour and humility was breathtaking. A moment I will always remember.
ABs team will be gutted, but they're a class act.
Cheers bro,we just couldn't cross the line... Well done bokke what a game
What a final,New Zealand hold your head up high, you done your country proud !!
yes
Absolutely 💯
I know in years to come we will forget. But TODAY I want to say I'm proud to be a Kiwi. Yes we lost. And congrats to SA. But the boys competed for most of the match brilliant and showed the class and character to get back in the game.
Proud is an understatement!

Thank you my friend, It was a battle and never easy, but without pain no gain, the AB team can keep there heads high they gave us hell to the end
Respect, could have gone either way..
Thank you mate, the AB boys gave us hell, a brave effort from the AB team they can feel very proud, a game that could have gone anyway
WOW, wish we shared it, was epic, Boks and AB❤
You were awesome… you showed your love of the sport and your country 100%
I'm so extremely proud of our AB boys. Congratulations, SA! Thank you, Tim for being there. Respect mate. 🇳🇿
Love from South Africa. ABs were incredible. We ❤️ you guys.
You're our best opponents always. We honestly would have been equally honoured to just lose to you too
Thanks so much I enjoyed the game and the tournament. I said it before if not the boks the I wanted NZ to win the World Cup. ❤
wdym they couldnt even score a try
A few years ago I was crying and hugging my friends in London. Now I probably watched my final RWC game with my mom. Been caring for her for 11 years in SA. She is suffering from heart failure. Thanks Tim for your content. This is another special one for me.

Unbelievable défense from a team with an extra player. Ridiculous comment.
Was Tim playing?
@@ObiePaddlesonly an extra player for 30 minutes....
Funny, I told my daughter before the game started that I was 9 in 95 and she's 9 for this world cup. Too bad she fell asleep lol.
Shut up Dutch boy...how did you do in football workd Cup,?
I was also 17 - in fact it was my 17th birthday party. Broke my heart but there is no better love or respect than ABs v Bokke.
As a South African, I really want to congratulate NZ. You played like an immense 15 man team for 80 minutes. Never gave up and pushed us right to the edge. Nothing in it.
Thanks for the opportunity to share this great stage with you. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

As a South African, I can say my blood pressure is off the charts. 1 point wins 3 times in 3 weeks, I can't cope. But well done both teams, what an incredible match and world cup
Rugby can often be cruel like that, in football they would all be draws
Thx mate

Mate, if NZ had won that they would have made a movie about Fozzie. Great effort from ABs.
From a South African supporter thank you. Our country has a huge amount of respect for you. A lot of South Africans have a soft spot for the NZ team a wonderful performance hold your heads up with pride, you gave us a run for our money.

The URC started last week, plenty of Rugby going around 😉

The All Blacks not ripping off or rejecting their silver medals...what a group of gentlemen...as opposed to English (gentlemen?).
Thank you All Blacks for such a heroic display of rugby. Go Bokke! Dankie! Julle is die beste!
Jip tons of respect for them. That was rhe one thing i was looking for. True sportsman

Questionable officiating but Sam Cane send off was right Proud of Abs for the brand of rugby. Unfortunately didn't take chances though 14 men. But immensely proud.
AB is and will always be a great team. Feel really sorry for Sam. He was just unlucky.
Kom huis toe
To me this can compare to the 95 final .
I'm crying we (NZ) had two kicks to win and missed both. Well done SA better kicking, field position, took the threes.

Congratulations SA. Yes the TMO unfortunately made a mark on great World Cup final.
You can't be the greatest when the refs and world rugby cheat the game for you. SA should want to win the game fair and square, not like that!!
Shame there weren’t 2 red cards.
@@salestalk63Some Cane for the pain ! 😢😊😂😂
Imagine trying to claim you're the best team of all time when your total points difference for the entire knock outs was +3
Thank you Tim, really appreciated your balanced and even-handed approach throughout this tournament. Go well!!
Sensational coverage Tim, really well done. Your analysis made a fantastic tournament even more enjoyable. Bravo.
I agree. To my mind both captains were just rugby incidents with no intention. It has ruined yet another game.
Tim, you have been the absolute best by far and throughout. You were on the ball full time with an unmatched work rate. Wow, what a pleasure it was to have taken this journey with you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks Tim, this has been an epic journey with you. Well done.
What we ask of the Boks is unfair. No words. Thank you, Tim for your humble yet extraordinary platform & channel celebrating Rugby. Respect and love to the Greatest of Rivals - the almighty All Blacks. We salute you and await the next chapter.
Well done to the boks congratulations great win from Ireland you deserve it hardest group and run in.
Thank you. Loved your open, earnest and honest coverage throughout the World Cup. From a Springbok and rugby supporter. Q
Tim....not many words....just thank you.I am breathless. GO BOKKE!!!
