I remember playing The Haunted Mansion... nothing like the movie in my opinion. The Haunted Mansion would scare me in a way that would make me shiver to the bones. It got to a point where I couldn’t play it because I was that scared to play the game
@@jade_ottsel they should do a remake of the movie in my opinion. I’m not saying the movie was awful but I think they should try to do a reboot or something
Nostalgia is the sweetest feeling in the world. Games like this where i played for hours with no concept of time when i was 5 years old. Those days are what i miss the most.
Josh, it really is! Luigi's mansion is somewhat similar but this game is actually quite frightening and the puzzles are more challenging. Growing up playing both games I have to say that The Haunted Mansion by far is the superior game.
@@AndyJakeGaming I wish there was a walk-through of this game where in order to figure out how to accomplish the level madame Leota would give a rhyming hint
For a Disney Haunted mansion game that is based on the ride but the year is set to 1879 that does sound very fitting for a Haunted mansion game that takes place in the Victorian era/Gilded age
Press F12. A list of Plugins will show up. If (vfw) xvid mpeg-4 codec is on the list use it because I use it. For the Size put in 1280x720 for the game to cover the screen like this video. Make sure the small box next to Size is on YUY2. Don't click on Config. Now click Browse. In File name you can name the video anything you want. After you put in your video name click Save. Click OK in the Capture Settings. You are now recording video and sound. Now remember recording may slow the speed down, but no slow down will be in the recording. When watching the recording all is normal speed like you want. When your done recording press F12 again. Two files can be found in your Videos folder if you saved your recording in your Videos folder because that's what I do. One file has your video name, the other is named recording. You need to put both together. The program I use is called Format Factory. Here is the link: www.pcfreetime.com/ . Now after you downloaded Format Factory open the software up. Click Advanced. Click Mux. Video file is the one with the video name. Sound file is the one named recording. Video file goes in Video Stream. Sound file goes in Audio Stream. Just click Add File to put them in. On the top have It on High quality and size. Now click OK. Click the Start button on top. Once the video is done and the progress bar is saying Completed click on Output Folder. There It is, your completed video! Rename the video file to the name you made on the original file.
I made it as far as the underground crypt without help - then needed the invincibility cheat code which with just about EVERYTHING attacking you from all directions....
This Leota has to have the weirdest characterization. She seems a bit too friendly, the accent seems kind of phone in and is entirely unnecessary as Eleanor Audrey herself never gave a New Orleans drawl, and they made her really pretty for some reason. Is it just me or does Atticus Thorn's design look out of place for this game?
Aside from Eleanor Audley's, I liked this take on her. Honestly prefer it to the headcanon where people turn Leota into the "Villain" of the mansion. -.-;
is there an emulator I could find of this game online? Anyone know of one? My grandmother's disc got scratched (yes she plays video games, it's actually pretty dope) and I can't find another copy
There is PCSX2. I used it to play this game. As for ISO/ROMS people like Nintendo made it harder to get one safe. PCSX2 can play discs. You can check out Amazon or Ebay for a used copy. pcsx2.net/download/releases/windows/category/40-windows.html
I swear the graphics on this game were seriously impressive for 2003. Not to mention how wonderful of a game this was.
i loved this game growing up but was too young to get far in it this hellped alot
xXMadWolfXx Nice Lil Peep pic
Don’t worry it took me from that year til when I was in the 7th grade in 08 to get to the end. And it was worth not giving up
I had this on the Gamecube and now i must revisit this again since the Museum level was really hard!

It wasn't based on the game.
Mandi Grubbs sorry.
Mandi Grubbs oh, it's fine.
IMHO, the game's plot was better than the movie. xD;

Finally! Gameplay without commentary.
I couldn't get too far when I was young because I was too scared.

It was all good until I encountered that freaking banshee
The poor man's version of Luigi's Mansion, with a Disney relation.
this game is better than luigi's mansion imo

9:32 Could Casper reason with these ghosts and monsters? I don’t think so.
8:38 You really get around for being a head stuck in a ball!
10:17 Ah, a fortune card! That’ll give you another life if you get ten of them!
oh my gosh this right here brings memories
6 soul gems = 6 infinity stones
Beacon of souls = infinity gauntlet

Yes! I love this game!
Me too.

I do take damage though.

What did I just hear???😓
Madam leota sounds sexy af
The movie version was sexier
Because she was played by Jennifer Tilly 😅
