Big fan, since I saw them open for Nirvana. I've got ALL their albums. Even some bootlegs. I would kill for the original demo cassette tape of Minna Tanoshiku. Back around 1999, I was in a biker bar and this album was actually on their jukebox. Go figure. So, obviously, I picked this classic song and went back to the bar. Not long after it started playing, this girl sidled up to me and ask if I picked this. We dated for about 6 months after that. I won't go into any more details, aside to say, she was awesome. Thank you, Naoko.
Those simple fun lyrics and universally accepted guitar licks and backing beats combined together with their unique style have me transported back to 1985 when I was a mere lad, when music didn't need to be complicated or sophisticated, just easy to listen to and more importantly, simply fun.
no I think they're saying anyone that Kurt noticed for them and then they followed because they would never have listened otherwise is super cool@@DiamorphineDeath
This song stays stuck in my head perpetually by default

A work of actual genius, I'm saying it.
Doesn't date, does it? The album is a rock classic.
You want to date Twist Barbie? All she'll do for dinner is nibble her salad once. Yes.
This is my favorite version, probably because it was the first one I heard.

Why isn't this album on spotify!
Kurt Cobain loved these guys. The told the guys how to play this in Nirvana so they could use it secret shows.
Everyone that was a better musician in Nirvana needed to be taught by Kurt how to play a garage rock song?
