Nice 2A... I have one too and love it. I love watching the tubes light up and making contacts with it. Takes me back the the 1960's when I first got hooked on ham radio

Sometimes the new tech just can't take the shine off a high quality classic

Hola!!! Saludos y felicidades…

When transmitting with the KWM-2A you should switch the meter to ALC and talk it up to S6 average. In PLATE position it should read 125 mA on voice peaks and drop to 40 mA during a pause. The GRID position where you have it is only for tuning and should not move during transmitting.
    K4OF.

BOB RENFRO: I know it's been 4 years since your comment but I see the meter switch in the Plate position and not the Grid as you stated. That is why we see all the movement on the meter. I'm sure ve3ngw checked it in the ALC position as well. The ALC setting on the KWM-2 is not that critical as it can be in other radios.

I got one of them but not really in good shape. I just wipe the dust out and make it clean. Right no w it just lay down on my desk like furniture.
