Omg i got a job with the school system in my area as a per diem typist i guess basically school secretary and omg I'm so nervous. Not really knowing what to expect cuz i never worked in a school system I start next week
I don't know how it is in your country, but here I am, graduated from university, English Major, and started working at school since I graduated. Firstly, you just started off with a position at school that does not really involve with what you really wanted to do, for me, it was receptionist. Then gradually, you will know the work flow school, you will know the students, the teachers, the staff, the environment, you show them how you want to be involved with them, naturally and gradually. I am working as secondary admin assistant and am a part of secondary pastoral team now. It is not that I am successful, it is just the fact that I am doing what I feel that I am fitting well. And you know, sometimes, the achievements of students really warm your heart.
That school is so lucky to have such a warm and loving person on staff. Way to make a difference!!
This woman is amazing. She is filled with love and life and hope and warmth. Every school deserves to have someone like this.
