I'm so glad I found this watch through and your channel. Confession: Despite all the episodes being very good, 2 is my favorite. The multiple misdirects, Enoch's voice, the song that plays over the work montage that's sung by Enoch's voice actor "Patient is the Night", and the shape note style song the citizens are singing in the barn that I'm still minorly obsessed with ("o hie thee forth o'er golden mead, yon is the maypole set"), it's just kind of the perfect episode to me. Fun fact: The other verse of that song in the barn that was just finishing when they walked in actually tells you that they're skeletons! (You can listen to the whole thing on the OTGW soundtrack) "From flesh removed, our chalk footfall tempers this holy ground, where timeless spirits meet 'round the heart of Pottsfield Town" Fun fact 2: Pottsfield is a pun on a "potter's field", which historically was a mass grave near a town for people too poor to afford a real grave.
here's a comment I found on reddit talking about the title of episode 2 "It's a pun, Hard time can mean either imprisonment/manual labor or just times that are hard, and a husking bee is a REALLY old middle american thing where contestants would compete on who could husk (peel) corn the fastest though sometimes any fall festival would be called a husking bee, usually part of fall festivals, since the boys are doing hard time at pottsfields festival, or huskin' bee" it's hard times at the huskin' bee"
