- Welcome to our home building VLOG! We are so excited to take our friends and family along on this journey, but mostly love that we can keep these videos saved online to look back on and remember building our first home!
In this video we walk you through our new home and update you on what has happened within the first year! We'll tell you what we love and don't love about Pulte Homes. There are a lot of things that still need changed/updated, but we have been pretty happy overall being in our new home!

I just purchased a move-in-ready home from them in a 55+ community. I'm going for my walk-through in a few days and the closing is next week. The home I purchased is in Georgia and I'm in California so it's a long distance thing. I've never been to Georgia and have no people there but I can't afford California so I have to leave. My sales consultant sent me pictures of the house and I love it. Excited but a bit nervous too...moving to a place I've never been and where I don't know anyone but I'm ok with it. It will be a new adventure for sure.

Hi you're home is beautiful! We're currently browsing and searching to find a builder for our home. We've visited Ryan Homes so far. Was a finished basement an upgrade that you needed to do? and what was the cost if you were to upgrade?
Simple question..did your garage come with a light inside and switch or did you have to add that as an extra? (I totally forgot to ask about it before I finalized the electrical stuff)
I have house under a year. Still awaiting Pulte to come fix. Seems like they don't really honor their warranty

You're such a cute family. Glad you are enjoying your house. We are considering Pulte for our next house so it's been fun following your process. I have one question... when bidding on your lot, did you have a bidding war with other people? Did you have to pay more than asking price to beat out others? I heard this rumor where the lot goes to the highest bidder but don't know if it is true. I have a specific lot that I am waiting for and I'd be mad if it we lost it by offering asking price if someone added an extra $500 and got it instead.
We did not have any sort of bidding war! The price was fixed, although I think as lots were filling up the bidding did happen. Thankfully we didn’t experience it… so sorry you might be dealing with that!!
you have stunning and minilmaistic decor and liked your floor .May i know if u remember :) which sample you had chosen.Our design appointment is on April 6 and I really loved the color of the floor .Hope if you can help
Ah I’m so sorry I wish I could remember. I went through my emails to see if I could find our design appointment document and of course cannot find it. If I find it, I’ll let you know! Congrats on your new build!

Our is also pulte and yes the take ages to do any repairs… we have nail pop, windows, drive way issue.
Every time it’s next month and they never show up.

Do not change your mirror! Your drywall will come out with the mirror, and it costs a lot to repair!

I wanted to see what is wrong with the house, but i guess sitting through a 10 mins video to see where a nail popped up is good enough.
Exactly. Some of these women are so annoying. They know exactly what we want to see but hold us prisoner to hearing them gab and gan about things they know no one cares about they just love hearing themselves talk.
And showing us their pregnant things and furniture and all the other useless things no one cares about.
I feel for you both Pulte is not known for their integrity and even their construction being very good. Hope you get things fixed soon . I think they build too much too fast and are always on the hunt for new business and not caring so much about existing homeowners. They are good at reeling people in with smooth talking representatives and raxzzle dazzle then ghost you more or less.
