    We have towed our caravan over there twice now with no problems. Did not tow to Totaranui as we travel with a cat so DOC camps ore out. There is so much more to see than Takaka, just do it. Robin

    ❤I lived in Takaka for six years. We bought a Jayco caravan to travel NZ but unfortunately had some issues with it so sold it and bought a house at Tata Beach which we rented out over the Xmas holidays as it’s so busy over that time and the money we used to have eight weeks holiday which was spent traveling within NZ. Such a lay back part of the world the rest of the year. Heading away in our caravan on Monday for two weeks, Kaikoura, Motueka and Takaka are going to be some of our destinations over that time. Spent many holidays over the years a Totaranui, lots of special memories from our times there. Well I’ve finally caught up with all your adventures until the next one comes out…phew😂

    Awesome places and I know we'll do it the same way, much more chilled to just take the Ute 😁 save fuel too. Not sure how much of the labyrinth we'd be able to do, but I am definitely going to go, and I definitely want to jump off that rock even if it is cold 🥶😅... Rob can film it #youonlyliveonce

    The resurgence is wāhi tapu (sacred) to Māori, as the waters were considered healing, so it's appreciated if you refrain from swimming there. The local iwi are working on signage for this. Thank you for showing respect and mentioning this.

This year will mark her third year going now. We are heading south for 5 to 6 weeks from the 16th of March and having followed you from the start would have been keen to catch up somewhere for a chat and overnighter perhaps. We have an 8 Meter Leisure line and have like you been most places in NZ. Would love to share some knowledge both ways and keen to get a few of your insights on places. Love your parenting and attitude to life. Regards Phil and Chont.

    Hi there Leopard Family. The Blue power generator you bought off Trade Me,is it noisey? When pluged in to your 240 volt inlet on caravan,does it charge the house deep cycle battery okay .Do you have a battery charger connected to the mains to charge the house battery.I have a campervan and the blanket type solar panel ( 160 watts ) I have is not enough to charge the 2x inline 6 volt batteries after sitting for up to 2 days camping.If the 12 volts drops off peak power,the compressor fridge stops.I have a 7 stage 240 volt automatic battery charger on board.So are you happy with the generator,any problems at all? I see its output is 800 watts.Do you think thats enough power out put? Are they worth buying ? Thanks Mike....James.

    • @leopardsgowild
      @leopardsgowild  6 місяців тому

      Hey mate, our generator is a cheap one of trademe $350, it wouldn't have enough power to run the 16amp plug, so we just plug in our ECo flow for charging and the Caravans Battery charger for charging the house batteries. Would be nice to have a more powerful one we could plug in like we were at a camp ground, but it's not powerful enough for that.
