My coworker just introduced me to this and a few other songs, and I don't know how I managed to go 28 years without this beautiful music

this is pretty much deffo my fav song right now.... i was surprised when i saw him that he was only one bloke, i was like where's Wine? but he was amaze, i danced till i almost died of bliss, it was amazing.

As an Early 90s baby , and listening to this band as a teen really made it hard for another band to match this unique sound sam has to offer
check out Elliott Smith. I&W's early stuff is very often compared to him, and I personally think he was a more consistent (and overall better) lyricist.
As a late 70's baby, listening to this in my late 20's hit hard, beautifully and deeply.

This sounds very West African Influenced, the music from Mali. This is definitely African style guitar playing
