    Your trailer looks a lot like my 6x12 Wells Cargo Fast Trac. I bought a '21 RZR Trail Ultimate like yours. The poly roof BARELY scrapes one of the pop rivets in the door header when I back in. I've had good luck so far, but will have to leave the stock 26" tires on, as I don't dare go any taller with the machine. If I ran taller tires, I'd either have to deflate tires to get in/out (hassle), take off the poly roof each time (bigger hassle), or put a flat aluminum aftermarket roof on. I had to laugh about your "Oh, shoot!" handles. I call mine "OMG" handles, haha. Thanks for the great video!!

      Yeah they can be a tight fit in a covered trailer for sure. I ended up removing the roof and installed a smoke tinted acrylic version that is flat so it saved me several inches of height. The main benefit of the acrylic is that I now have a panoramic sunroof!

    If you upgrade to a taller tire then it won't fit in your trailer will it?

    We got the exactly same model. I’m looking at the same accessories now. Appreciate the tips.

      Oh meant to ask about the translucent lid. I found a website and it’s been at the top of my list. Which one did you get?

      @@raza-man SuperAtv.com was where I bought the roof, it's really nice for night riding to be able to see the stars... I actually installed it with the fins up in the back which is upside down :-) I just thought it looked cooler

    Great video man, well done! Do you ride in rocky areas? I have some serious rocky trails in northern NJ border of NY state

    You should paint the front bumper blue too

    Where you get the back bumper, polaris website never has in stock. I have same mirrors and they are nice. Speed sensor is having issues on several.

      Surprisingly, a local dealer had accessories. They don't seem to be able to get the machines but do have some of the accessories. I did the 'notify me' on the Polaris web site for others, like the rear bumper and then ordered as soon as they emailed me that they had inventory.

    i ordered one march 17 how long did it take you to get yours

    • @LetsRideToday
      @LetsRideToday  3 роки тому +2

      I went about it a little differently. Back in March I called my local dealer and was told I could put money down for an order, but wouldn't likely see one until May.
      So I went on the Polaris site for inventory search and found a dealer within 50 miles that supposedly had one... I called and they said they did have one and it was already gone! But he was really helpful and did a dealer order search on his system and told me there was one clear out in AZ or there may be one at a dealer about 2.5hrs west of me.
      I called that dealer and asked if they had one, and he he said 'yep, it's still in the crate and he'd not even seen one of these yet!' I told him I'd take it and arranged to pick it up at the end of the week.
      So I picked up my new trailer Friday AM and drove 2.5hrs west that afternoon to pick up my new Ultimate!

    what is the ceiling height of your trailer

    • @LetsRideToday
      @LetsRideToday  3 роки тому +1

      The inside ceiling height is 72" but the header at the door which covers the spring mechanism is 4" so the opening at the door is 68" high. This is not high enough for the roof, so I had to remove it to go in/out of the trailer. I've replaced the roof with a tinted acrylic roof from SuperATV (see my other video on that roof) and that fits in/out the trailer with no issues.

    Decent review, but no mention why this over the Maverick Trail?

    • @LetsRideToday
      @LetsRideToday  2 роки тому

      When I was shopping I had a lot of factors that I considered in addition to the machine itself. I did have a chance to see a Maverick in person but not a Trail. For me, the Maverick was more of a lay back seating and a little more snug and the storage in the back didn’t seem as usable. The dealer was quite a bit further away from me too, so they did play into it a little as well. Overall the Trail Ultimate had the electronics I wanted and seemed like a better layout, again for me. You may find the Maverick a better fit for you, it just wasn’t a contender for me.

    What price did you get yours at? Looking at pretty much the same one from my local dealer but it doesn't list the price. Wants me to inquire by email.

    How do you get into the machine inside the trailer with the walls so close?

    • @LetsRideToday
      @LetsRideToday  3 роки тому

      Yep, it’s a little snug for sure.
      I pull in at a very slight angle to the right to give a little extra room. I then slide out, and just lift and slide the front of the machine back to the left a little bit so it’s back into a straight position.
